I can't believe the home run. I wanted a splitter there. A bad pitch selection and location. At least, all the hits, including the home run was super hard hit.
Well, Seattle tied the game. I have no idea which will win, but probably, Seattle.
How come Blue Jays could score so many runs, especially against Max Fried? Why can't the Cubs score more?😄
I'd like to see Rea starting for the game 1 against the Brewers. That gives other SP's to rest an extra day, and the last two games in the season, Rea was awesome.
What do you guys think?
IMO, Tucker is the worst hitter we have at the moment. I'd rather see Mo, instead of Tucker as a DH, but they won't do it.
Next year, assuming Tucker is not coming back, I think Seiya, RF and Mo, DH will fill the spot for Cassie, most of the games.
I just hope the Cubs win the game 1 with Boyd. When he's good, he's good. I worry about Boyd more than Shota. The Horton's injury definitely sucks, but at least, Jamo and Rea pitched well lately. I think Jamo will pitch in the game 3.
I agree. They have the best bullpen, I think. Nobody expected Pivetta would pitch that well coming into the 2025 season. Cease and Darvish or King didn't look that great this year.
We need a few of these guys going, PCA, Tucker, Seiya, Busch, Happ or Swanson. It's hard to predict those guys. Any one of those guys could go 0 for 4.
I don't know what to expect. They could be super hot, cold or somewhere in between. At least, Busch and Seiya were great at the end of the season, and I don't know if they stay hot or not. Tucker didn't look that good. But, again, who knows? We can't really compare the regular season games to the playoff games.
Assuming Seiya playing the right field, it's either Tucker or Mo. Tucker didn't look good. He was like 1 for 11. I would take Mo, but I think Tucker is going to be the DH.
Seiya hit 5 HR's in four games. He's going to play either way, DH or RF.
