  1. Not considering what it is going to go up to over the next two years if he keeps pitching like he did last year.
  2. I think Mark's repped by Bizaro Boras, because he's already done something completly un-Boras repped player like (sign on draft day out of HS) Not exactly. He did sign very quickly but he also got out of slot money (bonus was highest until the 12th pick).
  3. The idea would be to draft a couple CB's so you would have 2 or 3 starting CB's. But they'd have to be ready to start.... I don't see anyway to draft 2 CBs that are gonna be better than Tillman in the next year or two. I don't see enough justification to move Tillman to safety with Brown and Harris there. I think the justification would be the amount of time that Brown missed there the past few years. It's like Kerry Wood....if the guy is gonna go down for a significant chunk of time almost every year, you need to have a starting pitcher/starting safety there to fill in. I'm playing a little devil's advocate, as this was Mulligan's idea, not mine. This draft is pretty weak at corner though. There definately won't be two that we can get at our first two picks that would be better than Peanut.
  4. Yeah, I don't think you are going to get a top 15 prospect for a 5th starter. Yes, but what about Williams? He's a 3 starter at worst. How do you figure that?
  5. Yeah, I don't think you are going to get a top 15 prospect for a 5th starter.
  6. He ended the year at AA and played there in the playoffs. He could be sent back down to high A to begin the year if he doesn't do too well in the spring.
  7. Not really. He had been splitting time between there and first base all of last year.
  8. I was one of those people. I didn't feel like spending money on this pathetic club this year. :(
  9. We will be fine cap-wise. We are 10-15ish mil under the cap. As long as we don't sign 2-3 big name free agents we will be fine carrying all three of the running backs.
  10. I'm saying that I would much rather have an OC that is willing to run the ball alot than one that is not. I don't think that Martz is that good of a game caller.
  11. I'm not mad at all. I like to run the ball more than 10 times a game.
  12. Meh. He's going to get his catches. The Bears just have to make sure that they contain him and don't let him get the long play. He did have a big game the last time that they played but he didn't have any big plays and he didn't get a touchdown. The key to beating Carolina is to shut down the rest of the offense and contain Smith and don't let him make the big play. If you do that you should have a good chance at winning the game.
  13. Sean Taylor scares me.
  14. And this is why they always have a top 5 pick. What a stupid organization.
  15. Man, that was some horrible shooting in that game.
  16. Teams that still need to post: Masturbatory Autism Ditka's Army Da Bars
  17. Majerus is a horrible announcer.
  18. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no way he is going in the top 5.
  19. I believe he was talking about going to community college, which would allow him to spend a year playing baseball, but then come out in the draft next year. That was the case. I don't know if he ever actually signed up for any classes though. I know it was either the college route or indy ball.
  20. I think that if they traded the pick they could get a deal similar to that, probably even better since Bush, Lienart, and Young have been hyped a lot more than Eli was.
  21. Yep. They sold the naming rights a while ago.
  22. It's still winter break, that's why Assembly wasn't as loud IMO. Musberger is a human wasteland. Musburger sucks. AH just isn't that loud. Compared to the old chicago stadium at least. I was listening to the Illinois vs Arizona game from last year. The ILL-INI during one of the timeouts was amazing. It was crystal clear and so loud. Man, I wish I was at that game.
  23. That was the worst game I have seen Auggie play in a while.
