  1. :D This was a thread for just the Fiesta bowl, not all of those games. :P
  2. http://www.northsidebaseball.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=27740&start=200 :P
  3. Which means that the lineup will be: CF Juan Pierre SS Neifi Perez 1B Derrek Lee RF Jacque Jones 3B Aramis Ramirez LF John Mabry 2B Ronny Cedeno C Michael Barrett SP Carlos Zambrano SP Greg Maddux SP Mark Prior SP Glendon Rusch SP Jerome Williams CL Ryan Dempster
  4. Ugh, we are gonna suck next year.
  5. From what I have read in BA scouting reports, this is due to the fact that he sort of leans over the plate in his stance. And the Diamondbacks need any sort of pitching they can get.
  6. This game doesn't mean anything but it should be nice to see Rex get some more playing time.
  7. I think they have plenty. I would start with the reffing if I were them.
  8. I think Nebraska bought those refs. Jeez.
  9. And the refs mess up yet again. Wow.
  10. These refs are amazingly horrible. It truly boggles the mind. Michigan had to waste 2 timeouts so that the refs could decide to review plays that were really close.
  11. This Michigan vs Nebraska game is crazy.
  12. I put this together for another site but I found it pretty interesting. I took the sack and pass attempt numbers from nfl.com. Team Sacks Pass Attempts PA/S Bengals 20 506 25.300 Packers 24 589 24.542 Colts 18 438 24.333 Dolphins 24 521 21.708 Broncos 21 443 21.095 Giants 26 534 20.538 Patriots 27 536 19.852 Chargers 25 490 19.600 Seahawks 23 449 19.522 Titans 30 555 18.500 Lions 30 487 16.233 Chiefs 30 478 15.933 Jaguars 29 456 15.724 Panthers 27 424 15.704 Eagles 38 578 15.211 Redskins 30 456 15.200 Cardinals 42 628 14.952 Bears 28 395 14.107 Saints 37 516 13.946 Ravens 40 526 13.150 Raiders 42 543 12.929 Rams 44 567 12.886 Falcons 34 414 12.176 Steelers 31 363 11.710 Buccaneers 40 462 11.550 Browns 41 460 11.220 Bills 41 422 10.293 Cowboys 45 461 10.244 Jets 49 450 9.184 Vikings 54 470 8.704 49ers 45 360 8.000 Texans 68 413 6.074 This doesn't exactly show the whole story of how good an offensive line the team has since QB play and run blocking aren't taken into account. It does give a pretty good view as to who the best pass blocking lines are. Quite a few surprises imo.
  13. Or a trade. Angelos has been pretty good with trades. oooh, what about ced benson and our pick to the cardinals for the likely #9. that way we can pick up lewis and forget all about the RB controversy? We don't have the cap space to take that sort of hit.
  14. When the search tool is back up and running, I'm really starting to think that we need to document the number of imminent deals that Levine has discussed that didn't come through. He's not a particularly reliable source, though he does give us some fuel for the hot stove (albeit the dried cow dung variety). He's generated at least two enoormous threads on this bd. since May (Dunn and Tejada). I guess what irritates me the most is he never seems to get called out by the station (or anyone else) for these inaccurate reports, and/or never seems to explain himself when they turn out to be inaccurate. This may be exactly what the station wants, since the bottom line is generating listeners and making money. Just too many people fall for such stories. I'm pretty sure Silverman has called him to task on numerous occasions. They always get into little arguements on the air.
  15. I also think that a snake draft is a good idea.
  16. Yeah, IMB said that we were going to have 3 keepers at the beginning of the season.
  17. Best draft pick = Larry Johnson (round 8) Worst draft pick = Ahman Green (round 2) (last time I take a ******* Packer) Player I shouldn't have dropped = Jake Plummer or Willie Parker Overall fantasy Most annoying player = Daunte Culpepper Comeback player = Steve Smith Disappearing act = Willis Mcgahee
  18. I blame Steve Smith for being a [expletive]. And Moats for not showing up.
  19. To switch things up a bit, this is a great article on the turnaround of the Bears this season. link
  20. We're locked up with the #2 seed and Minn has been eliminated so no but I wonder if a loss will give us a better draft pick. Draft seeding for playoff teams is based on how they do in the playoffs. So no, it won't.
  21. I seem to remember him having more injury problems while he was with the Mariners. Oh well.
  22. Griffey had a rather large injury history before the trade. This isn't true of Tejada.
