  1. I don't think so. Right after he threw it, Victorino threw the ball in looked up and he was pointing at him, they definitely got the right guy. What a tool you're wrong. i've watched it three times on my dvr. the guy they grabbed was just being a loudmouth. a douchebag with the sweatbands on his forearms threw the beer. I didn't think the guy in glasses did it either he didn't. the security initially talked to guy who actually threw it but then moved onto to fat guy with glasses and threw him out. I'm sure cubs security rewatched it and will remove the correct guy. and it's on espn tonight too! We can look like morons in front of the whole country.

  3. they threw the wrong guy out. the guy who threw it was a few seats to the guy's right that they showed getting tossed.
  4. I've had a little bit of time to reflect on the loss and I don't have a lot more than some of the big things that have already been said. -Bob Bradley over thought his starting XI a bit by not returning to the Confed Cup line-up. Ultimately, it did not have a tremendous impact on as far as why we lost. The USMNT played some its games in RSA. It shows confidence in returning to the guys who brought you deeper into a international than anytime previous. -Brian Ching is not good but I don't think he's going lose many minutes now through next summer. -I thought the middle fielders did not control possession enough to give the defense a break. I wasn't shocked when the Mexicans scored their second goal but it seemed almost inevitable considering their pressure and chances. -As much as I would have liked to win today, in the big picture, another loss in Mexico City is not a huge deal. We should still qualify and make yet another World Cup. We've clearly had success internationally all the while losing there everytime. Sure, it would be nice to be them on the road but it's not essential. Besides, we beat them in the 2002 World Cup in the what was by far the biggest game in the rivalry.
  5. i'm getting pumped.
  6. At least preseason football doesn't have players who have been removed from the game running wind sprints in the outfield as the game is going on.
  7. this is just senile lou and his typical post-game blathering.
  8. :( i'm still pulling for him.
  9. There is definitely a fair share of primetime games this year and one game against Seattle. I bet you'll get a decent amount to watch.
  10. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-31-bears-brite-chicago-jul31,0,6283714.story Marcus Harrison is a fatty.
  11. this stat is pretty remarkable, especially considering the turnover of the pitching staff.
  12. If they are spending money to send people to Mexico, why didn't they just buy the rights to air the game? That's a difference in cost of a couple million dollars. Clearly. They'll also be generating some ad revenue by airing it. I'm more or less surprised ESPN is covering the match with additional coverage. They've shown a tendency to ignore or provide very minimal coverage of things they don't air. They recognize the significance of the game but didn't want to spend the money on picking its rights, I just find it a little surprising considering they air most of the rest of the USMNT's WC qualifiers.

  14. great news, thanks wolf.
  15. His post game press conferences consists of him giving a really bad recap of the game. But he does it without any insight, he simply states who pitched, who got hits, etc. It's really bizarre.
  16. I hate you. P.S. Chelsea is on ESPN again tonight.
  17. It's aggravating how often he does it. Ramirez should never run more than he has to.
  18. I just popped in to say I'm glad harden had a great outing tonight. With Dempster going down, it would be huge if Harden could continue to pitch like he has his past two outings. I'd definitely be in favor of him getting an extra day off before his next start, if possible.
