  1. Funny stuff on here with all the Pete Carroll stuff, but I really dont get the name "poodle" for him. Seahawks have had a great draft. I am suprised that they resisted temptation to make a deal for #14 but Thomas was just too good. Good resist on the QB's though. Tate already winning Seahawk fans with his twittering
  2. dont forget the 3rd round from White Soxaholic
  3. no wonder the last 2 portland games are on NBA TV no one wants to watch the horror that is those 2 games. Supposedly Portland was supposed to be "redded out" like OKC had all their blue on. Anyone see the game and notice anything? ugh, what a pitiful last 2 games. Now Batum is hurt. Can anyone stay healthy on this team?
  4. does anyone know how the Seahawks got rid of their 2nd rounder? It says through 2 different teams and I can't find anywhere to back track it. I think it was from the Unger trade last year but I can't remember (and I thought that is why they dont have a 3rd this year)
  5. Wow, something must really be wrong with Morgan. This is really underwhelming. With the huddle with the Commish, I wonder if this was a pick for someone else but they ran out of time to complete the deal? Also, not getting Marshall and choosing Thomas instead with this pick? VERY odd
  6. McLain's a better value than Bulaga and there is some tackle depth in this draft. What about Anthony Davis? Character issues
  7. I hope not! Seahawks!!!
  8. I've heard they want to trade Lynch. And Spiller can do so much more than just be a running back. Seahawks picking up Lynch for a 4th? Too little?
  9. Nope. Yeah that was Fail huh? 30 seconds later... Ugh. Oh well. Morgan is still out there right?
  10. Okung falling to the Seahawks is AWESOME! So the last 2 drafts the Seahawks have made out. Last year with Aaron Curry and this year with Okung. GREAT back 2 back 1st rounders. Can't wait for CJ Spiller later
  11. Agreed. More people love a freak show
  12. Well, one would think that the Astros and the Mets are the 2 perfect teams to get off the schnide against but apparently, the Cubs like to be givers. Z will return to better Z and the Mets will return to the AAA team they resemble. Go Cubs!
  13. If you think Aldridge is only a jump shooting PF you are sorely underestimating him
  14. I am Proud of the Blazers tonight. They played well without Roy and stole homecourt despite trying to give it back about 50 times down the stretch.
  15. Ugh. I'm not sure if the Blazers really wanted the 6th seed and matchup with Phoenix. With Roy hurting (and possibly out) the "young and athletic" bench that has been hyped for 3 seasons better step up. Rudy & Miller have to be huge if Roy is down
  16. WOW. Guys really? Give it a rest and stop ganging up on people. is it really that important to tear people apart?
  17. Lee's Reaction on the replay they showed with Gomes rounding the base was classic Lilly throwing the glove
  18. so it is moving to a dynasty league?
  19. This was the front page story on Yahoo the last couple of days. Is there a Yahoo Jinx?
  20. But if his ceiling is a 4th OF, why not get him used to the role now?
  21. Most of the time, both teams get possession in OT, going by these figures. But it also proves that 35% of the OT games were competitively one sided. When you have a test of skill where only 1 team/person is able to provide the outcome, it no longer becomes a competition. The defense had a chance to stop the offense in those 35% of games and couldn't do it. Obviously, most of the time defenses can force at least one possession for their offense, so there is a competition. It's just that 35% of the time, the offense was better than the defense on the first drive. So you would be OK if the Top of the 10th inning ends with the winning run scoring because the defense/Pitcher allowed it to happen? Shouldn't the defense of the team winning the coin toss have the same oppoetunity to prove it is competitive just like the offense or is competition only offensive?
