    True, but that commitment would have only been for 2 years, I believe he's a FA after 26. He's also been one of the more durable pitchers in the game since he got to the show, sans last year

    The Cubs really missed an opportunity to get Jesus Luzardo in the offseason. The Phillies got him for what, the 4th best prospect and 21st best prospect in the system? That's basically nothing compared to how good he is as a pitcher. I'm sure that for a comparable package, the Marlins would have preferred to ship him out of the division.
