  1. 11 hits off one of the best lefties in the sport The Cubs might not have a Judge or Ohtani in their lineup but they have 9 guys that will give you a good AB
  2. It's crazy how good Kelly has been since he's become a Cub. He went from a backup caliber C most of his career to a top 10 guy that can hit
  3. If Shaw keeps hitting like this, he has a chance to take over in LF or RF next year with both Happ and Seiya being free agents.
  4. forget their current record, it’s shocking that this Phillies team never won a WS 4-5 years ago when most these guys were in their primes. One of the more talented teams I can remember to never win.
  5. He’s been too great the last 2 seasons for me to think he won’t snap out of it soon. Just a bad slump. He’s still one of the best hitters on the team imo
  6. Hoerner, Mo, Bregman, Busch, Seiya should be at the top of every lineup, from now on. In that order
  7. Watching Mo's ABs are great. He's already one of the best hitters on this team
  8. Exactly how I feel. No doubt in my mind that trade only happened because some guys in the Cubs FO were fighting to save their jobs going into last season.
  9. Assad has always been pretty good, no idea why he's always rotting in the minor leagues and Ben Brown gets featured
  10. I don't think this team is worse than the one that was 1 game away from the NLCS last year, even without Cade Horton. They do need the rest of the rotation to be healthy though, including Steele. Bullpen will get into form soon. Lineup concerns me a bit but they have the pieces to at least be an above average offense.
  11. I get the point that's being made about sample size, but Cam Smith is 23 years old, what if he's turning a corner as a lot of 2nd year players do? They could have made that trade without Smith
