  1. It'll be the ask, unless we are including someone like Cade. I just don't see a world where we get Gore without it feeling like it hurts in terms of what we give up.
  2. He's wild for sure, but he's also traded for Soto, King, Cease, hit the lottery with the Tatis trade, drafted Merrill, traded for Arraez, signed Machado, traded for Darvish, keeps finding these kids that become top prospects, etc. So he has a lot of wins to go along with the big time prospects he's traded off. Probably World Series champs last season if they win game 5 against the Dodgers?
  3. Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it's going to be Murphy/Adley at this point. That's who they were targeting a couple weeks ago when Murphy was thought to be available and there was chatter that Adley was going to be their big swing this TDL. More so was agreeing with you that if we traded a catcher to them, it would be one of Amaya/Kelly as they are looking for an impact catcher for this season/playoff run. (Opposed to a Mo or Reese)
  4. Yea it would be one of those two going back if we were to trade a catcher to them. As they were looking for an impact catcher - Murphy/Adley. I think it would be more likely that we send prospects and they flip those prospects to a third team to acquire a catcher.
  5. Cubs are looking to add a RH bat, they're not going to ship off their current best RH bat...
  6. If the Marlins move Alcantara (His market seems to be heating back up), does that make them less willing to also move Cabrera?
  7. He's not really a fit for us innings wise. Rays have him on an innings limit after his 3rd elbow surgery and have pitched him 5, 4, 2, 2, and 3 innings his last 5 starts. I believe they have him on a hard 150 innings cap, so not a guy we could count on for 9-10 traditional more starts along with playoff work.
  8. I haven’t seen a return yet
  9. Alright Jed. Shored up the pen tonight, gives him all tomorrow to work out the big SP trade and a bat.
  10. Kittredge has always been a solid arm
  11. If that’s the case, I think Suarez is more likely now. That is if the Cubs goal was 1 SP, 1 RP (Soroka), and 1 bat.
  12. If he is headed to mainly a Flexen type role, are we still thinking two starters is on the table? Like a Bieber/rental + controlled SP? Or likely just one preferably controlled SP and make do with a combination of Horton/Rea/Assad/Soroka as the 5th SP to get us through the season?
  13. Reds with another move -
  14. Probably gave up a little more for him than I would have guessed.
  15. This is what 1908 is referring to:
  16. Excited to see what Preller ends up with
  17. He continued to DH apparently, so they must not think it was that serious.
  18. Ohtani leaving with trainer mid at bat after throwing 6 straight balls that weren’t close.
  19. I doubt the price was the same for us, if even possible
  20. Are you two making this trade?
  21. 8, 14, unranked (pipeline)
