  1. Alright Jed. Shored up the pen tonight, gives him all tomorrow to work out the big SP trade and a bat.
  2. Kittredge has always been a solid arm
  3. If that’s the case, I think Suarez is more likely now. That is if the Cubs goal was 1 SP, 1 RP (Soroka), and 1 bat.
  4. If he is headed to mainly a Flexen type role, are we still thinking two starters is on the table? Like a Bieber/rental + controlled SP? Or likely just one preferably controlled SP and make do with a combination of Horton/Rea/Assad/Soroka as the 5th SP to get us through the season?
  5. Reds with another move -
  6. Probably gave up a little more for him than I would have guessed.
  7. This is what 1908 is referring to:
  8. Excited to see what Preller ends up with
  9. He continued to DH apparently, so they must not think it was that serious.
  10. Ohtani leaving with trainer mid at bat after throwing 6 straight balls that weren’t close.
  11. I doubt the price was the same for us, if even possible
  12. Are you two making this trade?
  13. 8, 14, unranked (pipeline)
  14. Hopefully Mets didn’t over pay here…
  15. #56 and #92 on pipeline
  16. RP market is hot
  17. You're getting worked up over nothing. Jed is going to make impactful moves. He traded for Paredes last season while 6 games under .500.
  18. I guess this is why they've been experimenting with Marte in RF. I still don't like it.
  19. Yep, he's not who I would have targeted if I were the Reds. They need two decent hitters and they could be a tough out with their starting rotation.
  20. Takes one team out of the Geno race...
  21. Seiya is 2-19 11K's .105/.190/.263 against Peralta in his career. Maybe that changes today, but I wouldn't bet on it.
