  1. Bwhahaha, you cannot be serious. Williams led the conference in assists his freshman year and played point guard on a team that should have won a conference championshp(Typical Wisconsin call at Kohl). Williams was head and shoulders further along at the same point in his career than DMac. How can Illinois fans still underrate how good Deron Williams was for us? yeah, averaging 1.7 more ppg and 1.5 less apg in less minutes. but who's keeping track? and i guess "maybe" and "ultimately" have no meaning for you there, psycho. Oh so he could ultimately be a top 5 point guard in the NBA. Got anymore orange koolaid predictions? I got Brain Randle becoming Lamar Odom, psycho. Also Williams was our best defender from day one. McCamye can't guard a chair. what? are you sure that you're okay or are you just having an off day, there killer? do not go to dekalb, i repeat, do not go to dekalb. What the hell are you talking about? How is this acceptable? Making light of what happened in DeKalb? haha, all of your posts are unacceptable, that's what i'm talking about. and i'm afraid for college campuses everywhere. Ok, sure thing. I guess being a fan of Deron Williams is a crime and unacceptable. Thanks for correcting me. i don't think you know who you are a fan of.

  5. yeah, mccamey real good. maybe better than deron, ultimately.
  6. What happened there? Any reasons? not enough schollies to go around if he redshirts. this is actually what's best for both parties. good luck to him.
  7. watching the blackhawks blues game and surprse! the hawks haven't scored since i started watching while the blues have scored 3 in a row. this type of crap happens every day.
  8. i want marmol nowhere near the closer's role, unless game 7 of the series, we're winning and he hasn't been used yet. seriously though, he should be the number 1 reliever and should picth wherever he's most valuable. imo, he's most valuable in tight situations.
  9. oh man, i totally forgot, spring training means arguing with people who hate aram because he doesn't come to camp early! yes oh my yes! please, who's first? come on, you know you want to rant about how he's lazy and fat.
  10. i touched some boobs.
  11. Illinois at #23 seems a bit low. Do they think Mendenhall was the only reason Illinois was good? He'll be tough to replace, but I think Illinois will be in the thick of the Big Ten race. It's not underselling them too much I think. They only return 14 starters v. 19 from Penn State and Wisconsin, and they lost their best/most important player on both sides of the ball. That said, it's not like they left them out of the Top 25 and put PSU and Wisconsin in the Top 10, they're grouped close enough that it's a relative tossup who they think finishes behind OSU. they lost a lot. their best 0-lineman, a very good ot, the offensive player of the year in the bt, a very good middle linebacker (although i don't think we'll miss him as much as some think, miller will be adequate there), antonio steele. although vonate is back, dere hicks and marcus thomas, patrick nixon to safety and donsay hardeman to olb with martez wilson, who everyone will get to see this season. josh brent is a year older, and d'angelo mccray is a monster. will davis is back, liuget will instantly help this team up front on d as well, pilcher's back. the d will be fine. on offense, i'm most excited about juice. he's going to follow rashard as offensive poy in the BT, you heard it here first, folks. jason ford will start and will be fine. the loss of weil hurts, which is why i think that mikel leshoure should move to fullback, although he's not exactly the bruising blocker that weil was, which sucks. as far as receiver goes, the illini are ridiculously deep, so deep that gamble's moving to safety, most likely. benn, cumberland, james, scott, jenkins, hudson, tavon wilson, ellington, sanni--any of whom could be moved to defense, which is where sanni or ellington will end up, but not both. pocic could start at right tackle instantly, and remember the name: ryan sedlacek, he's my sleeper. that said, i think 23 is a fair ranking.
  12. Great so if he ends up at Ohio State Matta will have better guys walking on than most of the Big Ten has recruited. don't worry, the best player in the state of ohio in 09 is committed to illinois.
  13. yeah, where's the beef? up and to the left. meh, my wife just had a baby. i have access to boobs like that. I think you need to see her in person to appreciate how beautiful she really is. i just saw this chick on mystery diagnosis that's way hotter.
  14. yeah, where's the beef? up and to the left. meh, my wife just had a baby. i have access to boobs like that.
  15. yeah, where's the beef?
  16. Well yeah, but compared to non-tv women, she is a hottie. http://www.theangryt.com/images/8-3/clip_image002_0012.jpg If you go into the average office environment, she'd definitely be the top 3 good looking women in the office or on the street. Depending on the street. oh, i'll give you that. there are a ton women at my office and erin would be the hottest.
  17. there are a lot of hot asses on tv. as far as tv-land women go, she's nothing special...at all.
  18. get the digits? I'm sure. Oh yeah. I think I definitely stood a chance... Erin Andrews would probably only fall in the 85-90 percentile range of hot girls in Bloomington. erin andrews doesn't really do it for me.
  19. I want to change my arrogant/delusional fan base vote. he's right. iu is a reputable school with a long and rich history of excellence in men's basketball. there's nothing wrong with saying it. I don't want to harp on this too much because I don't think whoever posted it(slipping my mind at the moment) is delusional/arrogant, but the way it is phrased it is saying to me "our top coaching job is different than other top coaching jobs because we care about class and ethics here while the others don't. You have to not be a scumbag here unlike all those other places." fair enough. i didn't really interpret it that way, but i can see how you could. indiana has a pretty clean record as far as recruiting goes, under knight they graduated players and still managed to have a top 5 program, which is amazing. combining a top program with a clean one is quite a feat. as much as i hate indiana right now, i can't player-hate and deny the prestige of that job. plus, i can see the frustration of hoosier fans--they could have almost anyone they want and yet still choose to hire scumbags like sampson.
  20. Mostly because they like their skin to stay on their bodies. Honestly, of all the garbage he has spewed out, this is probably the most likely thing to have some relevance/truth to it. i'm impressed. it's never been a big issue for me, but it's an assumption that every single color man in the game will go off about if he sees it.
  21. oh, you didn't like the "get it and chuck it from anywhere on the court-offense" that davis installed?
  22. And that is why we need Roberts at the top of the order and not Soriano. We need a guy to take a lot of pitches, and tire the pitcher out, and see how his stuff is on that particular day. Instead of Soriano's swing swing swing approach. i don't necessarily buy into the "stuff-testing" idea when it comes to leadoff hitters. most hitters who pay attention will be watching and asking questions anyway regardless of the leadoff hitter. but yeah, soriano shouldn't be leading off.
  23. okay, fair enough. good insight, this is thinking outside of the box when it comes to conventional wisdom. many coaches don't realize that in many cases, they're so inundated with conventional logic, that they'd believe down is up and up is down if the situation dictated--hence, the sacrifice bunt.
  24. Hits are more likely to occur by chance while walks are not? I completely disagree. Walks are WAYYYY more about luck than hits are. You get a hit if your a good hitter end of story. You take a walk if the pitcher happens to throw you balls. that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. I find it hilarious that this guy is a baseball coach. HOW IN THE HELL DO HITS OCCUR BECAUSE OF LUCK??!!!! ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!!!! I'M DONE WITH THIS ****. YOU GUYS HAVE TO BE THE STUPIDEST PEOPLE IVE EVER COME ACROSS. BATTING AVERAGE IS A VERY IMPORTANT STAT WHEN DETERMINING HOW GOOD A HITTER IS. NO ONE HAS A HIGH BATTING AVERAGE BECAUSE OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was referring the the "you take a walk if the pitcher happens to throw you balls" stuff. I don't like to harp too much on Moneyball, but there's a chapter in that book discussing that exactly mentality about walks and how early statisticians ridiculously denied that taking a walk could be due to the skill of the player. The chapter pretty much talks about how stupid they were. yep. i'll also add that players who take alot of pitches and work deep into counts tend to maximize their potential. most hitter aren't good enough to walk a lot, hit a lot, and strike out a few times--the ones who are are in the hall of fame, but anyway......what taking pitches does is tire a good pitcher out, opposing teams did this for years against us, they just wouldn't swing, they went looking for walks because they knew it was their best shot at scoring. it's an excellent strategy, and one not contingent at all upon luck. you don't even need much skill to take a walk.
  25. i'll read this post if you insert some paragraph breaks into it. i'm not trying to be a jerk, here.
