especially pitiful considering they were supposed national championship favorites at the start of the season. but then again they did the same thing against michigan last year, so its not suprising. lose a few games in the regular season, win a meaningless bowl game, act like your king of the world It's called injuries. USC is healthy now. usc's not that good. they've gotten the benefit of a bunch of breaks. booty is an average qb. the only player that impresses me is mcknight.

no, you're right, they do. that's a no-call. he wasn't trying to make contact, he was going for the ball and the usc player got in the way. No, that's PI. The DB bumped the receiver and interfered with the receiver's ability to catch the ball. That's what is called pass interference. nope. that's called incidental contact when both players are going for the ball.

that play would have resulted in 3 td's for usc if the situations were reversed.

not a bad decision, but a bad throw. you can't overthrow that ball, you have to give cumberland a chance at that pass.

if the situations were reversed, a pursuing trojan player would have forced a fumble on that play and they would have gotten the ball back. west coast pukes.

The fans did not boo him for his season stats. They booed him because he was exactly the opposite of what this team needed, he had a horrible start, he got picked off repeatedly, he threw the ball directly into the ground or 100 feet over the cutoff man, AND HE WHINED ABOUT THE FANS IN HIS FIRST WEEK IN UNIFORM. I'm not going to say I approve of the booing, but this is a completely different situation. i agree. i think that his reaction to the early season boo-birds is what got him booed for the rest of his cubs tenure.

from the "this barely qualifies as news"-thread. Yeah, this and every other post made about a team hardly anyone cares about, which is about 55 percent or more of them. notre dame and ball state are on a plateau all their own, though. i mean, we'd need someone in here who really really cares about their d-3 school in order to trump those 2. Andy isn't the only Ball State fan around here. yeah, i'm sure david letterman is lurking around here somewhere, and maybe that one awkward-looking kid who messed up that sportscast. maybe they should start a ball state thread, that would be great.

Yeah, this and every other post made about a team hardly anyone cares about, which is about 55 percent or more of them. yeah i'm pretty sure nobody cares about holy cross basketball, but damned if i'm gonna let that stop me from posting about them after every game they play :D i stand corrected, you just named a school that people care less about than ball state.

Maybe we'll get that long awaited SIU-Illinois matchup in the NIT this year. They both look like terrible teams. my goodness, and how? how did things get to this point? it's going to be a couple of long, cold years.
