  1. well, [expletive].
  2. nobody ever gets sick of the usain bolt-slobbering. get over it, tiger's a playa and he's gonna win this tournament.
  3. and yang gives tiger a shot!!!!!!!!!
  4. and it's uncommon for it to happen. i guess you can look at it as a good thing that we'd be screwed if our starter went down, because i've never felt that it would have made this much difference before.
  5. these browns third stringers are worse tacklers than the bears.
  6. steltz is like archuleta all over again. he's just not badass enough to hit people without getting run over in this league.
  7. i wouldn't expect him to call a legitimate game plan in this game no, but the plays all look bad. all 3 step drops and 2 reads, just like it's always been.
  8. what needs work is turner's playbook because it sucks.
  9. turner's [expletive] is getting old.
  10. i really like robbie gould. he's not going to hit from +50 a lot, but he's rock solid from 50 on in.
  11. i'm worried about the injuries in the secondary, but not any thing else.
  12. Im not here to hate on Cutler but sometimes he will make some terrible terrible throws (Brett Favreish). that's not true. of course you're here to hate on cutler.
  13. i personally hope it becomes a trend. victorino is hawaiian, maybe they should throw rocks of ice next time.
  14. Someone in the crowd at Wrigley dumping a beer on a player or throwing something at them as that player is about to make or is making a play? Please list some of the "many, many" times this has happened. No list, but the beer dump is nothing new. On a player as they are making a play? Yes. I particularly remember seeing this happen to Lenny Dysktra (insert joke about how he deserved it) during the 8-8-88 game (at least in that series). I don't have enough fingers and toes to count all the times I have seen beer dumped on an opposing OF'er in the middle or end of a catch at the wall. i can remember it happening to dykstra when he was with the mets AND with the phillies. seriously, he got a whole 32-ouncer dumped on his head, not the swill at the bottom of the cup chucked at him.
  15. no, when they're standing in the middle of the outfield.

No list, but the beer dump is nothing new. yeah, mojo, it's not like we keep dates and times. i've been watching the cubs a long time and i've seen it happen a lot.
  17. i think he should be thrown in jail and locked up for life! we cannot tolerate this kind of behavior in a civilized society, i'm just glad he turned himself in because the door-to-door manhunt would have been [expletive] intense as hell. checkpoints go up at 15 miles, guy's jumping off a dam and ripping off an ambulance intense! throw the book at him, he raped santa claus.
  18. i'm convinced, the bears are going to suck and the packers are going to be awesome.
  19. lenny dykstra used to get a 32-ouncer dumped on him every time he came near the wall. if you don't want to get beer dumped on you, stop beating us.
  20. I thought that might be a slip up on the writer's part, but it seems like a bit of a no brainer given the fact that Bowman was given Peanut's spot (ergo he's highly regarded) when Peanut went down and Vasher has been underperforming. He has direct quotes from Lovie, so it may have been implied by something Lovie said... Either way, I would feel good about the position if those two guys were healthy and our starting CB's. All that aside... can someone explain what, "We'll be salty," means and how it's a good thing? the season also begins on the 13th, not the 15th.
  21. good thing there's no alternative definition of super bowl victories.
  22. this team is pretty bad without anyone to play, ever. maybe having an owner will help us if we ever get an owner.
  23. joe paterno is an old man that lives at the school.
