  1. murder/suicide anyone?
  2. my cousin was there last night and said that chris williams looked real good and is constantly consulting with pace between plays.
  3. whit athletes invented stupid thank you very much.
  4. haha, exactly. what's the point of being famous if you can't?
  5. if he was indeed screaming that i'll never question anything he ever does again.
  6. wow, the rockies never stopped hitting, did they?
  7. by you, and that's all that matters, right? only your head is going to explode when that same player seemingly craps the bed the next season in those situations. it'll be like meeting your future self that looks totally different.
  8. brandon marshall killed a cab driver, though, and he only got a 2-game suspension.
  9. 17 hits in one game without a win is just a load of unlucky bs.
  10. stop hitting already, we get the [expletive] point.
  11. I'd love for Cano to be here, but I don't think the Yanks will trade him. But I agree, though. Put in the claim and see what happens. you cant "claim" players that have passed through waivers here's a link on the whole process You can put in a claim on him which gives the Yankees the option of withdrawing him, trying to arrange a trade with the claiming team, or just letting him go to the claiming team. I don't see any harm in making a claim to see what happens after that. I'm sure the Yankees would withdraw him or ask an outrageous package for him, but it wouldn't hurt (or cost anything) to try. it's not that hard to understand. if a player has cleared waivers, it means that every team had a chance to claim him and did not.
  12. and they still won't stop. trying to steal a base up 5 will get someone drilled.
  13. these [expletive] nobodies just keep working ya.
  14. justice is supposed to be blind and naked, though. unless you're john ashcroft, in which case it's just supposed to be blind.
  15. looks like another unlucky game for the cubs.
  16. 6 hits in 2+ innings and no runs? sounds like the cubs.
  17. technically, i would imagine that kane would have an argument against the cabbie if the guy wouldn't give him his rightful change.
  18. more appropriately, kane would have flopped.
  19. so they paid and even tipped the driver but they didn't pay the fare? sounds like there's something else going on here that the cabby isn't telling us.
  20. what's the problem? looked like he was having a great time.
  21. i looked and illinois is a 6-point favorite against mizzou this year. i found that really strange.
  22. i think that catch against the seahawks was probably the biggest catch in bears history. not best, mind you, but most important. Maybe in the last 40 years. The Bears have won what 9 world titles in their history? So a catch to seal a win in the 2nd round of a 4 round tournament, a tournament the Bears ultimately didn't win can't be the biggest. I do agree that it was bigger than any catch made in 85 and before that the last time the Bears advanced to the championship game was in the 60s. you're also talking about a time where very little passing was done.
  23. i think that catch against the seahawks was probably the biggest catch in bears history. not best, mind you, but most important.
