There is no chance of either of these things happening. Disagree. I'd bet an indefinite suspension is announced today and then he gets the Matt Cooke treatment. The second part might be the worst though I've ever read so I agree there:) alright, the second thing is the wrongest thing you've ever read? that's a weird thing to say. i'm actually not going to let this go, the more i think about it. when star players become targets of severe severe goonery in the playoffs and are lost for the entirety of the playoffs, you have to have a way to police this problem. utilizing your own goons on the opposing team's star players doesn't work, especially when the opposing team doesn't have anyone in the vicinity of a marian hossa. short of forcing a team to forfeit the series, how do you stop this from happening? you have to hold the coach accountable for the actions of the players, i don't see why that's so crazy. again, what is to stop someone like torres from going after a star player again in the playoffs and winning the series for his team by cheating? that's what it is, cheating. there's no way to stop it. if a lesser player sacrifices his playoffs in order to win the series for his team by intentionally injuring a star player, you have to assume that there's some kind of reward in it for him.
