    Heh, I have to deliver a proposal for work and I have a feeling that my lunch break and the traffic back to the office will be suspiciously long. My boss is gone though, so it's okay. I'm stuck waiting until I get home at 7 to watch. i'm really looking forward to it, but my expectation is that few of the players I want to see on the field will see the field.

    I never said Theriot was better than DeRosa, what I did say was a interrogative statement asking why one automatically assumes DeRosa instantly gets the job at 2b over Theriot-if Theriot is forced from short that is-without competiton during spring training. Haha, what? And DeRosa should automatically be given the job because he's better than Theriot. The same reason Derrek Lee won't be battling Darryl Ward for the starting 1B job in Spring Training. Did you just compare Lee-Ward and DeRosa-Theriot? I really hope you didn't, I'm disgusted at the comparison. i'd say those comparisons are fairly similar.

    That schedule sucks. look at all the away dates in june and July.

    Kaka with Arsenal would be insane. They are so loaded on young talent right now, and Kaka's pace and flow would fit right in with them as well. That would be seriously illegal. And Henry would feel dumb for leaving, like, the best team conceivable. Good thing Arsenal can't afford him.

    What a joke. So it sounds like for the NLCS tickets, we don't have to do anything, we'll automatically get the refund. Am I reading that correctly? Yes. I stopped in to the ticket office today and that's what they said. And they're referring to the extra fees on the NLCS tickets. As far as the NLDS tickets, it remains to be seen what fees they're refunding. The guy at the office today seemed to think none of those fees were being refunded. Also he said that it may take up to 6 weeks to process the refund on NLDS tickets, but they were obviously going to try and make it quicker. He said the NLCS refunds should be done by next week.

    I just called the Cubs ticket office (773-404-CUBS). Those of us with NLCS tickets will get an automatic refund by sometime next week. Those of us with NLDS "game 2" tickets will need to mail them back in, however. For those of us that live nearby, we can drop the tickets off inside the green "administrative office" door on Clark. Apparently there's a ticket window inside there.

    He shoulda GIDPed like Jeter did. Jeter used up all of his mana forcing ARod's blooper over the fence. He didn't have any potions left for his own at-bat. he shouldn't need potions. Or weapons for that matter. his base attack should get at least a single every time
