  1. Robinson was never going to be drafterd as a QB anyway. he's simply not accurate enough. He's as much as admitted in interviews that in order to play in the pros he'd have to do something other than quarterback At least he has enough sense to realize this, unlike Eric Crotch, who didn't seem to get the drift that winning a Heisman playing QB at Nebraska does not entitle you to get a shot as an NFL QB. Robinson could play WR, RB, or even safety. I remember reading that after his soph year, a lot of NFL teams were hoping that PSU would move him to safety because of his size and speed. I actually expect him to be drafted late on the first day. Did Robinson play safety in HS? I wonder how good a hitter he is. Myself, I'm thinking that Brad Smith would make a nice Randle-El type NFL player, I'm interested to see how his skills translate to the draft. Check out the replay of him laying out the biggest safety on the Golden Gophers.

  3. The OL played well, but they need some studs to come in. If they get that, they could have a decent shot at doing something next year. Both the O's looked like they were sleeping and not practicing for 6 weeks. They were brutal at times, but I think it was more a case of the D's just being EXTREMELY physical and well-coached. I was SHOCKED that FSU was able to do as well as they were against the PSU line. The only beef that I have for the game was that PSU was never flagged for a holding call over 89 offensive plays, while FSU was called for every nit-picky hold. PSU was holding just as often when I looked closer, and FSU was still getting by and pressuring Robinson. FSU's O-line played well? 26 rushes for 26 yards? he meant in pass protection. Penn State has overwhelmed some pretty good O-lines this year with their defensive front, and it didn't happen last night.
  4. I got in exactly when they went up (refreshed every 5 seconds from 9:59 until the sale started), tried for 2 tickets best available, and was immediately told that there were no tickets that matched my request.
  5. I think it's looking more and more like it's so blatantly obvious the Cubs HAVE to get rid of the two of them that they won't get anything close to market value on each. (Not that Corey has much market value.) I think we need to realistically look at the possibility that Corey and Todd will net us a PTBNL/middling pospect and a backup outfielder-type (think Gary Matthews, Jr.-ish), respectively. Edit: Toward the start of spring training we may be lucky to get that on Patterson without having to pay some of his salary. What is it for this year, again?
  6. Does the term sophomore mean the same thing at Ohio State as it does in an actual unpaid college football player? :D I was waiting for that sort of comment. nearly made it myself. Also, on several occasions where tOSU turned the ball over in precarious positions last night, the commentator said, "you have to wonder what jim Tressel is thinking right now." To which i respond, 'I need to pay my players more."
  7. Ahh, he has to wait until after his junior year, right? yep.
  8. Hunter Cantwell did a great job for Louisville...he's about as tough as they come. What a way to step up in a pressure situation. And Marcus Vick is a punk with absolutely no class. How can everyone in the world see him stomp his cleat into Dumervil's calf but none of the officials did? What a loser...... He just got out of prison so maybe he thought Dumervil was going to take his smokes? I can't believe Syracuse knocked your QB out for the year. :x Just got out of prison...? News to me. Next years premature top 5, on ESPN OSU Texas ND USC Florida Next year is going to be very competitive for the Championship game. WV isn't losing anyone and I think they and LSU should be in the mix too. I think it might depend on who has the weakest schedule. What year is Leak? I think that might be a weak spot for Florida next year if he leaves. Yeah, that system wasn't really great for him but he was a pretty goo QB. Leak is a Junior. Also Florida has arguably the best QB recruit coming in next year, along with 2 top recievers. Their incoming class is pretty damn good. Holmes announced he is going to the NFL, hopefully Ginn will too. Those two are fast; very, very, fast. Ginn's only a sophomore
  9. I don't see how he could be had on the cheap considering how much he cost earlier this offseason.
  10. You should've just stopped with your initial sentence.
  11. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No.
  12. Check your signal stength when it's nice out. if it's lower than about 115, call Dish and bitch at them because your Dish isn't optimally installed. most of the channels work, the only one's that dont are CBS, ABC, and NBC. ooo, just the locals. Interesting.

  14. Um. Nice onside kick, Howells.
  15. According to whoever the color guy is, you can't blame Howells for the onside kick. Of course, he's entirely wrong, but thats what he said.
  16. 305 rushing yards? jesus.
  17. Catch. The. Football.
  18. That is, until we sign him to an extension that keeps this from being a contract year.
  19. a bowl game is not a time to break in a new kicker
  20. really dumb pass to lose it for Minnesota.
  21. C'mon D. Stiffen up.
