    Maurice Evans. They just announced side by side at the Army All-American Bowl. if they get Sam Young and/or Antonio Logan-El, I'll be more than satisfied. I think Young ends up at either USC or ND, but I do think Logan-El will come to PSU. Maryland didn't have much of a year to speak of and is getting blown out by PSU in recruiting this year; it's hard for me to see much of a reason for Logan-El to go to there. I also think that JB Walton, the #4 ranked OG in the country, will likely choose PSU over Nebraska. I wouldn't be so sure on Young. We've looked like we were out of the running for him on a couple of occasions, but he's taking an official visit to Happy Valley on Jan. 20. Give him some good weather.

    He is the #3 CB. Darrin Walls is #1, and he commited to ND. link EDIT:Well if you click on each person, it has #1 and #3 switched. Weird, I wonder which way it is? Walls was #3 until he picked ND. Upon seeing how he'd made the best possible decision, his ranking was augmented.

    Same score in the Giants/Panthers game I have. However, I say the Giants get 27 on four TD's, but Feely misses an extra point rather than a 3 TD, 2 FG performance. Well I say that he gets 2 field goals, but they're both from within 30 yards, and he misses a 37 yarder. No, a 36 yarder. With 5 seconds left in the first half. And a slight crosswind. Left to right.

    Posluzny only has partial tears of the MCL and PCL. No surgery. Out 6-8 weeks. And he hinted that he's coming back to PSU.

    Actually, Wrigley was slated to get lights in the early 40's, but gave it up so that the lighting factory could manufacture things for the war effort instead, IIRC. Why they didn't get lights in, say, the 50's, I have no idea.

    29 night games this coming season. it was supposed to be 30 but the Cubs gave one up in order to have the Buffett concerts last year.

    And in a game this important, why can't they tap into the network replay feeds? This year's NFL Draft ought to be interesting. I think Tamba Hali is a top 10-15 pick. Early indications are that Posluszny has ligament damange (perhaps 2 of the 3 knee ligaments). He gets an MRI today. MRI is tomorrow for Poz, I heard. Also, Tamba's draft position will be interesting because he's slightly undersized. Then again, so is Dwight Freeney.

    Penn State won 20 years ago, but don't know the date. New Year's Day. Ahhh. Remember when all of the games were on New year's? That was nice. Now you rarely see 2 bowl games on at the same time. Thanks, corporate greed! My dad and I ran into downtown State College and celebrated with what few students were in town over the hollidays. Ah to be 11 again. Or to have Penn State win another title. My parents took me to the airport to greet the team in both '82 and '86

    man, you are bitter. no he doesn't... you are just pissed that he just beat your team. he didn't. The referees did. ah geez. C'mon. Let's get real and realize that had the refs made that call correctly, the rest of the game would not have progressed exactly as it did. Everytime there is a "refs screwed us" argument people always assume an "all thing being equal" mentality. You can't just take out that one play and assume the rst of the game stays as is I knew I should have put in a [sarcasm] tag around it. Too long ago for you guys to remember that i was the one that argued with him in the first place.

    Why the hate? Did Texas do anything to show themselves as classless this year? Did I miss something? No, its the fans. After living in Texas, I hoped to never see them win anything, Also Young petitioning for the Heisman was not really classy (that would be nitpicking) its the fans I knew in Texas. I have to add that when i went to Tulane, Texas came to town (Mack brown used to coach Tulane). They killed us 49-0, I believe. Anyway, the Tulane students took up 2 sections in the dome. Every other section was burnt orange. Most of us were drunk and didn't care. yet tons of Texas fans came into our 2 sections to taunt us. Like we cared. It was just ridiculous. At least they didn't throw beer at you. While their team was up 50 in the 4th quarter. No. But several of them found it amusing to hang their balls out of their pants. until we told the police.

    You don't sell the naming rights to a national championship trophy... no matter how much they are will to spend. Eventually the only trophy without a commercial name on it will be the Stanley Cup. Only because no one cares about hockey snap!
