  1. Eh, thats not the issue. The issue is that Marmol apparently can't get three outs without giving up at least 3 base runners anymore. Pulling the starting pitcher with 103 pitches for a PH up 4 with one inning to go shouldn't be an issue.
  2. Wonder why the change? Oh, I see: heart of the lineup. What was Lillys pitch count? 103
  3. Alan Embree managed to get the win in Colorado over the Nats without throwing a single pitch when he picked off Austin Kearns.
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=4310080&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines Just six weeks after announcing that his wife has the same.
  5. According to a handful of Cardinal fans I talked to a day or two ago Rasmus has it wrapped up and no one is even close. Pablo Sandoval in SF might have something to say about this (he had 145 AB last year, but most were after Sept 1, so I think he still qualifies).
  6. simple is Fuld and 2 of Patton/Shark/Hart (preferably Patton, but the Cubs seem determined to keep him). But no, gotta have 3 pitchers that only get used every other month.
  7. It would be nice if Kendall would go back to sucking at throwing runners out.
  8. Fuld and Patton? Makes sense to me, although I'd like to see Fuld stay up for a bit. Yeah, but the players who can be sent down are: Fox Hoff Blanco Fuld Samardzija Hart so unless Fox or Hoff go down in his place, thats not going to happen. I highly doubt they will send down Blanco. It could be Fuld and Shark, although Lou likes having 12 pitchers, so it may be Fuld and Fox, because being successful goes against what this team is about.
  9. He and Randy Johnson should conduct a hitting camp. With special instruction from Ben Sheets.
  10. Line ups: MILW: Hart RF Hardy SS Braun LF Fielder 1B McGehee 2B Cameron CF Kendall C Hall 3B Burns P CHC: Fukudome CF Theriot SS Lee 1B Bradley RF Fox 3B Soriano LF Soto C Fontenot 2B Lilly P

  13. I don't think so.
  14. Wait, Hart didn't walk? That's not possible, the guy is a walk machine.
  15. Im sayin...are there any short stops we can get next year so that we can move theriot to second? Next years Free Agent SS according to Cot's: Orlando Cabrera OAK Bobby Crosby OAK Adam Everett DET Alex Gonzalez * CIN Khalil Greene STL John McDonald TOR Marco Scutaro TOR Miguel Tejada HOU Jack Wilson * PIT The * means they have a 2010 option.
  16. :yahoo: Peoria is on the road this weekend. Kane County. Nope, they are at Kane Cty Friday but then return home for the 4th and 5th... I'll have to go to the game on the 5th (no chance in hell I'm going to the one on the 4th).
  17. Yeah, but they are only 1.5 games out of the WC.
  18. Gaudin destroyed the Rangers the other night. I think he gave up 2 hits and no runs through 7 innings. 1 hit them for 8 innings.
  19. I just moved back to Peoria and was hoping to see them before he was promoted. Damn it.
  20. http://www.azcentral.com/community/glendale/articles/2009/06/26/20090626coyotes0626-ON.html Jerry Reinsdorf trying to buy the Coyotes.
  21. It does make Fox look as short as Fontenot. Lee looks like he is 2 ft taller, but according to cubs.com, Fox is 6-0, and Lee is 6-5.
