  1. One baseball reporter tweeted that it's through 2016. Don't know if any financials are available. All Cot's has is:
  2. What goes around, comes around.
  3. A's over Royals Giants over Pirates Angels over A's O's over Tigers Nats over Giants Dodgers over Cards Angels over Os Nats over Dodgers Nats over Angels
  4. Do you mean candidates for 4 decade club or am I missing something? Yeah, 4 decade.
  5. Out of curiosity I went through the rosters on BR and found the players who debuted in the 90's and were on a roster this year, with the year they debuted and age: Alex Rodriguez 1994 39 Jason Giambi 1995 43 LaTroy Hawkins 1995 41 Derek Jeter 1995 40 Raúl Ibañez 1996 42 Jamey Wright 1996 39 Bobby Abreu 1996 40 Bartolo Colon 1997 41 Torii Hunter 1997 39 Paul Konerko 1997 38 David Ortiz 1997 38 Carlos Beltrán 1998 37 Adrian Beltre 1998 35 Eric Chávez 1998 36 Bruce Chen 1998 37 Álex González 1998 37 Aramis Ramirez 1998 36 A.J. Pierzynski 1998 37 Tim Hudson 1999 39 Randy Wolf 1999 38 Jose Molina 1999 39 Joe Nathan 1999 39 A.J. Burnett 1999 37 Kyle Farnsworth 1999 38 John McDonald 1999 40 Buddy Carlyle 1999 36 Alfonso Soriano 1999 38 Jeter, Konerko, and Chavez are retiring after this season. Some of the players (Abreu, Ibanez, Farnsworth, Giambi) are probably done as well, whether they want to be or not. Beltre and Ramirez are probably the only candidates to make it to the threefour decade club. If you find anybody I missed, let me know. Also, Buddy Carlyle? WTF? ETA: In the couple hours since I made this post, Abreu announced his retirement. Also forgot ARod.
  6. Apparently there's no reverse angle to show... That or the director for this game sucks, which he does
  7. Too many stupid penalties
  8. Well, Ola is useless
  9. Eh, you've been struggling, are deep in your own zone and get the ball to start the half.
  10. Got to go to two hands there. Cutler kept shifting it like he was looking for somebody to pitch it to.
  11. What the [expletive] are you trying to do there? Hold on to the [expletive] ball and go down. And de la punete, block the [expletive] Blitzer instead of nobody
  12. The amount of stupid penalties this team has been committing is unacceptable.
  13. That would require Tucker to be a good coordinator.
  14. It looks to me like Brown was going for a hurdle expecting the punter to dive at his feet and then the punter didn't.
  15. Straily gets his Cubs debut while the Cubs face off against the player they're going to trade all there top prospects for, according to Mets fans.
  16. amaro values his own players way too highly to just give them away in a salary dump. that's the reason that he didn't make any trades leading up to the deadline; he's thinking that he can get the moon for aging veterans. Considering he asked for Aaron Judge for Marlon Byrd....
  17. Oddly enough, one of those might have been foul at Wrigley while wrapping around the pole at Fenway.
  18. So the Cubs have decided to start the second half with their worst pitcher. The only saving thing is that the DBacks also suck.
  19. I've been wondering that myself. However, there is precedent, Barret Loux: Isn't that the point? That they are offering the minimum to get around the rules? I think that's what the adviser is arguing, that they are offering the bare minimum to get around the rule, and therefore are not negotiating in good faith. Also, it's not like with Appel, where he can return to school and then re-enter the draft the next year and maybe get drafted higher. Aiken would have to wait a couple years if he goes to college. Although I guess he could go and play for an independent team for a year.
  20. I've been wondering that myself. However, there is precedent, Barret Loux: Forgot to finish: While Aiken is only in high school and can go to college, it should be noted that Loux was only a Junior and still had eligibility.
  21. That's a lot of words for "Go [expletive] Yourself"
  22. Every Cub batter got a hit Every Cub batter scored Coghlan and Castillo were the only Cubs to not have multiple hits Bogaerts was the only batter in the entire game not to get a hit
  23. Woooooo. or something. I don't know. I['m drunk. [expletive] it.
