  1. I' like ESPN's overlay better: http://www.hittrackeronline.com/ballpark_overlay.php Look like left field is a little deeper at Oakland, but right-center is deeper at Wrigley. I'm guessing it just feels bigger because Oakland is a huge, empty stadium
  2. According to wikipedia, Arlington provided $325 million of the estimated $1.15 billion it cost.
  3. Fowler on third, Contreras on first, 1 out. Rizzo hits a short fly to left, Fowler can't go home, but for some reason Contreras had gone with contact. Left fielder throws to try to double up Contreras but the throw is offline, allowing Fowler to score. Contreras is then caught trying to advance to second.
  4. Alright alright. Second CG for Hendricks this year, second career CGSO.
  5. Single, Double, Triple, Homer, HBP, Walk, Error, Catcher's Interference, Dropped Third Strike There's at least 9 ways Fielder's Choice.
  6. Trying for third probably wasn't the worst decision, especially with the ball dying against the ivy, but I wouldn't recommend trying against Heyward/Baez. He may be safe if Zobrist is out there.
  7. It would help if the team behind him wasn't playing with it's head up it's ass.
  8. Montgomery is out of options.
  9. While I'd love the Cubs to get Odorizzi or something, I think the price would be way too high. At this point, I doubt anything else huge happens, unless the Rangers cave and give the Brewers Gallo for Lucroy while waiving his option for next year.
  10. This was fun, hopefully Arrieta can take the next step forward in getting back into form and they can keep rolling, especially since the Marlins aren't going to be any help.
  11. Could've had him with a better throw from Ross, but I like that Baez still went for the tag anyways.
  12. See Cubs, [scoring runs]>[not scoring runs] Alright, cutting boy vs. chomp... Yeah, I don't have a great feeling about this, but the Sox suck, so who knows. Also, the Cubs should wear throwbacks for this game.
  13. Montero is batting 5th... So, fire Joe Maddon?
