  1. At this point I'm just hoping another team thinks he's salvageable enough to have some value in a trade.
  2. Fangraphs has him at 8.9, but what is amazing is his career def value is -165.5 Which is 34th worst.
  3. The Royals are calling up Bubba Starling.
  4. Uhhh who exactly is pondering this? Mark Grace was first eligible for election on the 2009 ballot. He got, surprisingly, 22 votes (4.1%) and was immediately dropped.
  5. Bench drop time: drop Seager, add Alonso
  6. Yeah, the ball landed in San Francisco Bay, not the ocean. Doesn't Muncy know anything? Jeeze.
  7. WHAT A PLAY BY OZUNA! HAHAHAHAhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  8. Kimbrel should've waited until after the game, he probably could've gotten an extra few million.
  9. I saw it on reddit and I think it's Rogers giving a personal opinion of 50-50 not any source indicating that
  10. Have you seen who is batting behind him? They're having him bat 5th? Why not...uh, nevermind.
  11. In other news, the Barves somehow managed to hold onto a 12-0 lead against the VBs, winning 12-8.
  12. Fun fact, Kyle Ryan is currently 5th in fwar on ther pitching staff. Not in the bullpen, the entire staff. He's 1st in the bullpen at 0.4.
  13. We'll know there's something up when he stops using her cover of Bennie and the Jets as his walk-up music.
  14. He really, really was. I didn't think hitting coaches mattered that much, but he's sure making me think they somehow do. Or they don't, but he's just the one really bad exception. Same. I was always in the camp of “hitting coaches don’t matter”, but, it’s hard to say that is the case after the day and night job by our roster with almost no changes in personnel The way I look at it, it's not necessarily that a good hitting coach makes a team significantly better, but that a bad hitting coach (or any coach) can easily make a team worse. A good hitting coach only exists to keep a player from falling into bad habits, and keep focused through a season. In certain cases, a good hitting coach can identify a flaw and significantly improve a player, but those are rare.
  15. Vegas got screwed. It was an unfortunate hit but shouldn't of been a major.
  16. Drop Judge (OF), add Contreras (C/OF) (-$75, +$25 = $950) Funny enough, I now have Schwarber as my C and Contreras in the OF.
  17. I think for a while it goes by last season's record
  18. Carl was screwed up by the coaching staff. They spent the entire spring teaching him a new motion, which he was very successful with in spring, that was blatantly illegal and then told him to just go back to his old motion. I'm not surprised he's struggling even more than usual.
  19. Edwards optioned to AAA, Montgomery to IL.
  20. They spent all that time in the offseason working on making his motion better, come up with an one that was beyond borderline illegal, get told it's illegal, and then just go back to the way it was. This team got successful, started inhaling their own farts, and now does every dumbass thing they think is smart.
