I was finally able to go out and play today after not being really able to due to either weather, work, or the courses being packed since the end of October. I'm visiting my parents and am due to head back to Chicago tomorrow, so even though it was kind of cold (mid 40s) we still went to the course they regularly play at near DC (Laytonsville MD). Played 9 holes + 2 more (1 and 9 again) So, after not actually playing for almost 3 months, not going to a range since early December, and not even swinging a club for the last three weeks, how did I play? The best 9 I've had in a while. Shot 41 (3 bogies, 1 double) on the 9 and parred the 2 extra holes. Had putts for birdies on multiple holes, but couldn't sink any. If it wasn't for my putting being rusty and a little offthe horrible condition of the greens, I might've cleared 40. The only issue I had was on the second par 5, and even then it was after a great drive and second shot (thinned my 3rd way over the green and then misjudged the shot back and hit it back over the green).
