    I wonder what’s the all time highest WAR for the MLB leader in K’s I was going to try and find it but I'm just going to go with Aaron Judge's 2017 - lead the league with 208 Ks and had a 8.3 fwar.

    2017 4 game series in Milwaukee with like 10 games left in the season and the Cubs up 3.5 games. Last chance for the Brewers in the division race. 1st game of the series the Cubs are down a run in the 9th. Happ beats out an IF hit on a literal tie with the ball, gets to second. 2 outs and Javy up, who somehow dribbles out through the middle to score Happ and tie it. Bottom 9 Wade Davis has the bases loaded with 1 out, believe he gets a K and then goes 3-1 on the Brewers hitter, one ball from losing but instead gets a comebacker to end the inning. Top 10, unclutch KB hits a 2 run HR and the Cubs win. Think they took 3 of 4 in the series and closed out the division in St Louis Then the next day they ended St Louis’s season with a bunch of backups in the lineup.     Didn't get the no hitter but still got a 92 pitch CGSO.

    This week definitely hurt the chances of the central getting a WC team, but whatever, go win the division. I mean... it’s June. But NL West is getting the WC spots unless the Giants fall apart. The west will definitely get 1 spot but if two of the teams get the best of the third it could keep the second spot in contention. I still expect the west to take both, but it's not a lock.

    I think that for a long time now the umps have been told not to check or do anything unless the other team complains. So, since every team started to have at least one guy doing it, and none of the teams were going to complain unless it was over the top obvious or they wanted to cause an issue, it snowballed into what it is now.

    Right! It's not a run down..Javy can't be 'safe at home'. I counted 6 different idiotic things the Pirates did on the play: 1. Not stepping on first right away 2. Not more aggressively running towards home 3. Throwing to the catcher 4. Second baseman not covering 1st 5. Catcher not immediately running towards Javy while he was making the safe gesture 6. Errant throw to 1B allowing him to reach That's the thing that makes this special - it's not just that the first baseman messed up, plenty of players have made dumb decisions, but that every other Pirates player just went along with it. Nobody yelling for him to go back to first or just make the tag, nobody running to cover first and get a throw. Just accepting that this is happening and it's the correct move.

    Question: Am I able to swap my DH for a position player? Right now Ozuna is my DH, I want to swap him to OF with Trout, and then drop Trout for Freddie Freeman. So I if I can: Swap OZUNA - DH with TROUT - OF Drop TROUT, Add FREEMAN at DH (-200, +150) If not: Drop TROUT, Add CASTELLANOS (-200, +75)

    They did. Like usual the Cubs have a guy sit for several days instead of just putting him on the IL like they should.

    It's not a perfect game because 1 guy reached first on a wild pitch strike 3. He was then caught stealing.

    Looking through BR quickly, looks like they had 4 double headedrs last year (3 of which were thanks to the Cards), split 3, got swept in the 4th. The last I saw was August 16, 2016 against the Brewers unless I missed one.

    I had to go check the score to see if this was a positive or negative statement.

    Maybe the Cubs are finally using the 10 day IL like they should. In the past is seemed like they've kept guys on the bench for multiple days while recovering from a minor injury while they should just put them on the 10 day and let them actually heal, while also playing shorthanded.
