    He might offer 5 to one of the younger Japanese Starters, but ill be super shocked and Surprised if he does with Peralta and King and if so, without a team option. both in their 30s and it would be out of the norm for Hoyer

    Given Hoyers history since taking control of the Cubs, any pitcher looking for more than 3-4 years will likely not get an offer from him. Skubal, Peralta, King are all likely not going to be on Hoyers list if theyre set on getting long term deals. I think we'll see Gausman, Peterson, and or Holmes being offered deals to return before he makes anyone outside an offer. If they go Outside, itll be someone like Flaherty, Buehler, Martinez, Bieber guys that'll take 4 or less years. Maybe a trade could net them a solid controlled starter. As of now these 6 are their SP going into Spring Training. Steele, Assad, Garrett, Brown, Cabrera, and Wicks

    I dont care for Dodgers or Brewers, so I just want the best team in AL to win easily in 4 games and then be ready to crush whomever makes it from NL.

    If he starts again, hopefully Caleb is back and plays the rest of season, but IF he ever starts again for the Bears, Ben just needs to keep routes simple and within 20 yards for Bagent and just keep the chains moving.

    No Monangai today, and Bagent starting , you knew today was likely going to be a loss. Defense had to be perfect, swift had to go off for over 100 yds, and no mistakes by Bagent just to have a solid chance. Need everyone back healthy next week and get back at it

    I went to a bar/restaurant for dinner during game 3, there were a bunch of Sox fans watching on all the TVs there, they started leaving in the 8th inning. Kinda felt bad looking at a small group that stayed, thinking how they had the night planned out to eat, drink, and celebrate there afterwards, but instead they all just looked sad and ready to leave, nobody was talking. It wasn't the pitching that failed them in game 5, it was their offense that carried them all year...
