Anyone else see the deal mlb extra innings has going now.. trade deadline deal, 35 dollars for the final 2 months. I bought it so I can watch teams battle for the playoffs

It kinda funny how most teams that score double digits one night kinda go flat the next game, it like they wore themselves out...

Cubs SP gonna be the key the rest of the way as the bats should be good enough to score runs most night, I personally don't have much confidence in the SP outside of Steele. Not being able to go over the Threshold ( most likely) to add a SP and another LH for the pen will probably cost them the Division. Maybe or hopefully they'll get a boost in the rotation from bringing up one or two of the prospects and they'll pitch well enough to get them some Ws...

They put Brown on the IL in Iowa, read they do that sometimes to give them a break, plus they just added the pitcher they got from TB. Slight chance but maybe they're preparing him to come up and take that start for Stroman

Bellinger at 28 is a guy you can commit to long term, especially since he can move to a corner OF spot, 1B and DH as he ages or when PCA comes up. They already have Swanson locked up, Hoerner and Happ for a couple more seasons, adding Bellinger and maybe even Candelario would be a smart move. Then surround them with the top prospects coming up like PCA and Amaya that there now and they got something going there with the position players. Morel and Madrigal is also a good start for the bench

I believe they have 1 or 2 yrs of control left with him, so I think it worth keeping him around next season, start him out as the 4th OFer and if he slumps off, they can easily just keep him in Iowa until needed

Nope, Ross has him hitting 2nd... Candelario hitting 8th, at least he has Suzuki down to 7th

At worse Tauchman should be the 4th OFer next season, no reason not to keep him on the roster. They have 2 more years of control

They can look to trade him in offseason even if they need to add cash to the deal, it only 3 mil.. It also minimal enough to if worse comes to worse just DFA him in ST

What ??? I'm laughing at the fact that Hoyer said his decision was made based on beating the Sox twice and Tauchman catch to win that game, so is he saying if they had loss one of those games, he would of traded away guys ?

2 months of Candelario and Bellinger, let enjoy it ... Hopefully we'll see one or two of the young SP get a couple starts in September

Would it be better, worse, same if they ran with Tauchman in RF and traded Suzuki ? 15 mins left to see if Candelario is the only player Hoyer buys
