Changes has to come soon, they have guys playing well in the minors and guys still trying to figure it out up here in mid May. If it weren't for the SP this team would likely be under .500 and with any consistent hitting and yes bullpen, they could have 30 wins

Counsell has to be throwing up when he writes out his lineup.. .219, .215, .214, .185, .143 5 of the bottom 6 hitters The pressure on these SP to not give up runs is beyond crazy

This has to be the end for Hendricks.. Eventually Hoyer and Counsell are going to have to dump guys who aren't getting it done and start changing up the roster

I get what you're saying but a move to 1B doesn't necessarily have to be for negative reasons. A move to 1B could be because both PCA and Caissie are ready to move up. Busch could move to DH Belli will get 27.5 and 25 in final 2 years both are option years, it's possible he could opt in next year even after a good season and then look to be a FA after 2025 or maybe the Cubs extend him after this season.

I would love to see PCA become a hitter like Brett Butler was.. He was awesome with getting bunt hits and had great speed

I kinda like if this is Counsell plan for Brown, seeing him pitch every 4 or 5 days for 3+ innings if needed. Keeps him stretched out, gets him needed mlb experience, and saves the pen for a day
