Besides cubs being cubs... Yea, no Bregman and their better SP are going against Miami. Imanaga, Gausman, and Holmes Boston would be in no particular order, Boyd, ?, and maybe Peterson who could save them but with the rain who knows. I would just be more at ease to just sweep Miami and hope they just need to win 1 against Boston.

Might be up to him, who knows... Guess its a matter of will a groundball to the face, or a hard tag on a slide, or anything that might draw contact to his face make it worst. Once youre playing, especially in a playoff game, you can't really go easy and try to avoid making certain plays or movements, like sliding headfirst if you need to.

Yea im sure he will be wearing some kind of protective gear, but not sure what they would have to protect around the eye and not obstruct his vision, but if they have something, he likely might even be wearing it for at least the WC round if it's more than just a swollen black eye. Unless I missed it, dit they officially say what type of injury it is, did they do xrays yet or too swollen yet

Goes to show how bad the pitching has been most of year, especially the bullpen. Unless youre the Rockies. normally if you have an offense scoring that many runs, you should be easily winning 90+ games
