Right, I wouldn't count on Jed really going over the top with trades. Knowing him, he'll play the Steele and Boyd returning as a special addition to the rotation to avoid going after a truly big arm. And yeh, i can see like last season him getting minor tweaks for the pen and bench if he does anything, I really doubt hes trading his top 2-3 prospects in a big move. I wonder more what he'll do if things dont actually improve again by July. The pitching isnt going to get any better or that much better then what it is now, and they dont have any possible savior they can bring up. The bats will or should be better but will it be enough or consistent enough to carry them.

Yeh it mid May and a million things can happen between now and Mid July, but watching this crap offense and depleted pitching, cant help to look ahead and wonder if things dont get better for this team, what Jed will do at the deadline cause I doubt he'll be in the buyers category. He should be on the hook for being fired if they dont make the postseason, but i know Ricketts wont eat that salary owed
