    Knew both would happen, I said Maton was gonna be put on IL after his first outing against Tampa..lol I figured Carlson was gonna get booted when Suzuki came back, no need for 2 outfielders off the bench

    Good W, back to 500 Go home Friday and keep it going, Imanaga on the mound and Suzuki returns to the lineup.

    At this stage of his career, I do think yes he better serves the team as a long arm and spot starter over an every 5th day guy, limiting his pitches should benefit him all season. With these early injuries, im really glad they held onto him, Assad, and even Taillon now over trading them.

    The last 3 seasons and especially last season says he sucks, glad for the cubs sake he had a good game yesterday and a big hit today, but I wouldn't bet the house on it continuing. Be nice but I doubt it

    Well I mean the OPS and Slugging are high because 4 of his 8 hits are homers, you dont find it a bit concerning that he has struck out almost half his AB. Yea, it ST but he struggled there too with just 7 hits and 8 Ks in 36 AB The 4 bombs are cool but the dude off to a pretty rough start, theres no hate in saying a guy could use a couple days off to figure it out.

    Theyre saying a bruised heel, but he needed a couple days off to figure things out with the bat, 18 Ks in 40 AB is brutal.

    Yea this isn't going to be an easy series, especially if the bats go back to sleep. Hopefully Imanaga Cabrera and Taillon all have good starts again
