  1. What did the ump see he never touched him Edit: ok he misses the base
  2. Of course he gives up a leadoff baserunner.. Thought maybe they'd go with Keller or Hodge here.
  3. Bats are just not charged tonight , likely not but maybe they came into tonight looking ahead to the Cardinals series and just wasn't ready to go.
  4. Let Go !!!!!!! Palencia likely shut down after back to back so we'll probably see Hodge or Flexen in the 9th
  5. Why i agree with you in that as much as im rooting for Shaw, I think Hoyer might have to go get a big RH bat ( hopefully Suarez) to help Suzuki and be that other threat from the right side to keep teams honest and from loading up with lefties to face the Cubs LHers. We'll see
  6. Not a good start Pomeranz, need you to stay clean tonight.
  7. That the thing with this team is that 3 of their 5 big hitters are lefties in Tucker PCA and Busch, and one is a SH who is much better from the left side Happ. When facing a lefty they need to rely more on Suzuki and then hope they get something from Swanson and the others, it just hasn't seem to happen as much as we would like it to with the others.
  8. Could see teams loading up their pen with an extra lefty or two when facing the Cubs going forward, it been their kryptonite since forever.... Could definitely see it being done in the playoffs ...
  9. 2-3 runs should be enough to win this one, let go already
  10. That what I was thinking, thought he'd only go once through order but I guess when you only give up 1 hit, you get to stay in game longer.
  11. Funny how it just feels like when Cubs hitters hit the ball up the middle there's always a guy playing in the right spot but opponents hit one and it finds the hole.
  12. It not a skill but seeing a guy fall short almost everytime hes in that situation is frustrating and in that 5 hole, he comes up often in that situation.
  13. What his numbers with RISP over that span, probably not good
  14. Yea, it likely because the guy starting is only gonna go through the order once and it'll be a RHer to replace him.
  15. Looks like Cubs will have Rea Taillon and Boyd for the Cardinals series, gotta hope to get one of the first 2 games and then hopefully Boyd can get the series win on Sunday. Guardians going with a lefty tonight
