Bottom of order gonna be a tough watch tonight... Will they get 5 hits overall Elite ? They're not even close to being very good yet, this is basically the same group that struggled for most part of second half last year. Theyre obviously going to be much better then this 10 game start, but unless they all start clicking on a higher level then normal, theyre far from a bat away to being an elite group.

Assad will probably get them 4 innings and hopefully 2 runs or less. It the bats that concerns me, they need to get out of this rut

I was reading where they mentioned that in 2023, there were more pitchers needing TJS in that one year then the entire decade of the 1990s... I get that there are more pitchers today throwing faster then before is part of the cause, but I do believe the limitations they put on these guys early on and increase weight training they do now has alot to do with these injuries increasing. -

Pen and inconsistent offense, the schedule gets tougher next week, they can find themselves 10 back of Brewers in May if they dont get it going. -

Likely because of facing LH starters starters and starting 3 for 20 with 8 Ks, and hopefully it just to work a bit with him readjusting some things early. Carlson Conforto Kingery, are showing the reasons why I always bellyache about bench bats. They're not important until they are, im not saying you need 300 hitters on the bench, just guys who are capable enough to fill in when needed. These guys and most others that Hoyer has brought in, couldn't hit their way out of a wet paper bag.
