  1. I'd presume - Townsend slot, maybe a smidge below - Sorrell slot, maybe a bit above - Bailey above slot, small but real chance he's way above - Jasa underslot - Marrioneaux under slot, but maybe not as much as you'd expect from a completely unranked guy? I'd guess they're collectively under, and they still have the 5% (almost $500k this year) to play with as well. So I'd think they have the juice for, if not a Kaleb Wing ($1.5M) at least a Naz Mule ($1M)? If they don't it probably means they're paying out the nose for Bailey which is obviously encouraging.
  2. Interesting that they went hard on hit tool last yeah and they're going hard on power this year. Fun detour into bats, back to arms now Dan
  3. I preferred Strosnider but Sorrell's still a gift at 62
  4. Well horsefeathers, good job Sacramende or wherever the A's play now
  5. 16 picks is a long time but trending towards there being some very high quality college options still there at 62. Take one of them (I'm trying to speak Edwards and Strosnider into the world), and then shoot your shot with an upside HS pitcher at 75. I'd be over the moon.
  6. I wonder how much $$ you'd have to offer Mason Edwards to get him to slide down to 62...
  7. I consistently find myself liking what the Rockies are doing these days and I know they have a new FO but it still scares the horsefeathers out of me
  8. If he is it's only by a smidge. He was supposed to go in the 20's, maybe early 30's
  9. Do you not remember what Taillon was like in his 20's?
  10. I'm happy with this. Now give me Kaiden McCarthy and the younger Wiggins with our 2nd rounders kthxbye
  11. Longenhagen has us taking Townsend but hasn't confirmed
  12. Peterson and Flukey have no business getting to us and we should be doing backfilps if they do. I really really like Dietz too but that's less of a consensus choice. I'm also willing to stomach the health risk for Reddeman if the org is. We're at the point though where there's definitely going to be multiple SPs on the board I'd be happy with.
  13. Angels going prep right there is more surprising than Rose at 6 IMO
  14. So we're getting an arm at 23, or we're getting an underslot bat like Hughes to help pay for an extra 7 figure arm this evening Cool. Cool cool cool
  15. If all of these college bats that were supposed to go in the teens are coming off the board now it increases the odds there are fun college SPs there at 23....
  16. He said he was getting some dissent among his sources shortly after And holy hell 6 is way rich for Rose, and I like Rose
  17. Eric Longenhagen is currently Woj'ing picks and says Booth then Burress 6/7
  18. I'm not watching Harold Reynolds, but there is about a 10,000% chance he compared Lackey to Charles Johnson I assume?
  19. Nah. 130 is when they switch over to Peacock for picks 11-40. Cubs will pick closer to 3 most likely
  20. 1000% this. Especially with the Sox finally becoming as fun as they have
