This is why I wouldn't spend months obsessing over mock drafts . At the end of the day you have zero control over what happens, the insiders really don't always know what the FO is thinking, and now you're all dejected because the draft didn't go how you hoped it would.
Sometimes coaches want lumps of clay that have freakish inherent traits and we just have to trust that those coaches mold them into real assets.
This also happens frequently when new regimes take over and sometimes they fall completely flat on their face. This one seems pretty questionable but we won't really know for a couple years how impactful the class is. We also have to consider the guys taken last year, like Booker, who could take a step forward in their 2nd year(s).
