One thing is for certain: the HRD literally cannot be worse than it was in 1990. Five total homeruns were hit that day LOL

This Soto drama is funny. Dude saw 7 pitches in his first 2 AB yesterday and took 6 called strikes mostly right over the heart of the plate. Reports are that he was railroaded into signing with the Mets by his own family. Can you imagine being 2 months into a 15-year contract and already regretting the decision?
I'll be surprised if he's not traded this season. He looks like a potential impact arm that will be knocking on the rotation very soon. He's obviously a dude.
Still very weary that he is a guy reliant on contact-management and not whiffs.
And god I hated that send in the 8th. That was just dumb. Let Shaw cook. Stop throwing outs away.
He's also 6th in MLB since 8/13/24, a span of 357 PA in which he's hit 284/330/522. 50% FB rate, he's exceptionally gifted at lifting the ball, he's actually tied with Tucker for 8th in the league since then. His barrel% would rank 7th, tied with Olson and Suarez.
With the power surge, he ended up improving on his 2024 numbers at Iowa and cut his Ks in half. I'm expecting above-average production by 3B from here on out.
