    Ryu gave up more than 2 ER for just the 3rd time today, but this makes 2 in a row. Yankees rocked him for 7. ERA went from 1.45 to 2.0 over his last 2 starts. Earlier this season it was the Rockies that went off for 8 against him. Without those 2 clunkers hed be hanging close to Bob Gibson's record.

    I looked at his statcast numbers the other day and one thing he definitely has going for him is he crushes breaking balls at 95 AEV. If he cuts the whiffs down on those and offspeed he could be quite a hitter.

    He was horrible for a couple months but over his last 50 PA he hit 300 with a 400 OBP. It's just too bad Kemp is out of options because that guy sucks and is wasting a roster spot right now.

    Brault has thrown 95% 2 seam and 4 seams. This is the most pathetic display of hitting imaginable with that attack.

    I get that those hitters have their weak sides but Kintzler has been absolute nails against LHB so I think the move was fine. He just couldnt come close enough to the plate to elicit a swing once he got 2 strikes.That’s still sub optimal. The hitters are worse vs lefties than righties and Ryan is neutral. Kintzler also doesn’t “get swings.” And we put in a worse defender at 3B for no reason when we brought in contact/GB guys. This whole thing is on Joe tonight. Kintzler was fresh off the IL for this and was brought in to a mess, Joe horsefeathers it up. Oh I'm totally on the same page with regards to Bote but I won't be convinced on Kintzler. I'll just leave it at that, no need to continue.
