  1. 6th in baseball with 8Guess I haven't watched enough! Actually I stand corrected: tied for 4th.
  2. I can't recall if he's even thrown anyone out yet this year 6th in baseball with 8
  3. Man that was a mistake by Nola, Javy just missed
  4. Contreras brings a good arm behind the plate and that's really about it. His blocking has been very poor this year.
  5. Ah. He played 50 games for us in 2009. Good catch.
  6. Browsing fangraphs and see this article https://tht.fangraphs.com/whats-in-the-infield-skin/ The cover pic is such an unbelievably odd choice. Out of the billions of pics available they chose a pic of the mid-2000s Cubs, although I love seeing ARam and D-Lee as much as the next fella, warming up in what appears to me to be a spring training game with a dude named Blanco (although not Henry, I don't even recall this guy wearing number 59) manning SS. So completely random.
  7. There's also been a reduced leg kick so I don't know why they would say it was nothing mechanical.
  8. The Dodgers defense is kind of insane. Joc is the only everyday player with a negative rating and their pitchers have added about 10 dwar also. The point of my post is can we emulate them please? I want to win the war race. P.S. stop making dumb outs on the bases, too.
  9. Cedeño to the IL(wrist) Curious to see if Cedeno can get minor leaguers out in his next rehab stint. He allowed 14 of 38 batters to reach in his first one. He was inexplicably promoted IMO.
  10. Of course the Brewers post 4 on Castillo in 2.2 and are threatening for more
  11. That is annoying. If Albert can just maintain a league-average bat he will be plenty valuable. His defensive metrics are looking really good. 3 wins is certainly plausible.
  12. Since the last bump 342/366/582 - 153 wRC+ With positive defense, put up just under a win.
  13. "i'm sick of hearing how a player making a million dollars a year to play a game is underpaid. it is patently absurd" You sound like a petulant little brat. The team has committed 600m in FREE AGENCY payroll in the Maddon era. Cheap, is a total crock of horsefeathers.
  14. He's 26 in AA with a Maples walk rate though (Still I wish they'd give him a chance)
  15. I'm sick of hearing how a team carrying a 200m payroll is cheap. It is patently absurd.
  16. Cedeno horsefeathering sucked in his rehab stint also
