  1. It was Jordan and there's no other acceptable answer Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. The fix was in Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. I had to warm up to Len the first couple seasons but I became convinced in time that he is the ultimate broadcaster. This is horsefeathering [expletive]. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. Buying high on a MR, and not really the money just in general, is a bad bet. Also it's actually a pretty nice look and deed to take a DFA'd player, get him patched up and marketable again, and let him shop his services unless he took a starting or high impact role Also also personally I think the cutter is an old man's pitch that nobody actually likes 3rd in contact% among RP with 20 IP Only Devin Williams and Edwin Diaz were better. You just don't let that guy go like that IMO. See if he can sustain similarly over a larger sample. Even if he slips a bit he'd still be among the best. Get him in the zone more and he'd be a pretty valuable player. And he's done that before. This year his walk rate was about 35% higher than any of his previous seasons. I have no doubt that he will be picked up by a very solid organization that recognizes his bat missing ability. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. Why the hell did they NT Tepera. He looked like a nice cheap piece moving forward. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Fair. Although I disagree with the 'inevitably hate the picks' part. Some teams consistently stack em and find multiple starters; others just draft bad as they usually do. I just have never felt like there was a player we absolutely had to have in our range over the last few drafts. Weve had plenty of holes to fill and I'd rather have had more bullets to fire off. His opposite philosophy from mine has really grinded my gears. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. There are obviously several things that bug me about that move, but what you said makes sense. If you are willing to give up a pretty decent haul to move up 1 spot on the off chance someone took Mitch at 2, that says that Pace had Mitch ahead of Watson and Mahomes by a significant margin. If they were close in his evaluation, he takes the risk that no one takes Mitch at 2, and if they do lives with one of the other guys. Ridiculous Pace just doesn't think that way. He identifies someone as the one he wants, and then he pays whatever it takes. Yeah, it is really tiring knowing that he is entirely inflexible with his 1st round picks. For the last 4 seasons I was hollering from the mountaintop to trade back and stack chips but when he gets his jolly old "conviction" on a player, he's gonna do whatever it takes to get him. We were in perfect position each year to trade back and add several picks. He always acts like he couldn't find a partner but thats a load of horsefeathers. He just doesn't want to lose out on his guy. His first round valuations have been such horsefeathering horsefeathers. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. 41-25 had been the final score of an NFL game only once prior to this past week. I was gonna say that is an extremely unlikely outcome but damn Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. Broncos do not plan to forfeit the game tomorrow despite having all 3 QBs on their roster deemed ineligible due to covid/contract tracing Lol
  10. History of QBs with declined 5th year option Teddy Bridgewater. This was mainly injury influenced. Signed 0.5m/1 year contract Blaine Gabbert. Resigned with SF (who had traded for him) for 2m/2 Jake Locker. Retired. I think he actually would have gotten a small backup deal and this was a legit retirement and not that he couldn't find work. Christian Ponder. 1.5m/1 EJ Manuel. 0.8m/1 The 5th year rookie contract structure is fairly new. For instance Alex Smith had a 6 year contract, and renegotiated the final 2 years of it after his 4th year in the league. Thanks for doing the leg work. He's not getting an extension of consequence IMO.
  11. Has there ever been a QB who didn't have his 5th year picked up, got benched for the meat of the season, and came back to earn a new, substantial, contract?
  12. MTV solved this problem 25 years ago
  13. So how did he end up in L.A.?
  14. Quintero and Howard being added to Davis, and I think the former two are both higher ceiling prospects, is most of what's keeping me optimistic. Honestly I'll even give Hoerner props for looking better than I thought playing ML games this year. Between the minors being torn up and that it takes 3 of their bonuses to top Bryant's draft signing bonus, these guys are going to arrive faster than we'll be told to expect for maybe another year. I think Howard's up in like 2.5 and Quintero by 2023 or 2024 ---- Oh and this future hoss: Edit: ^^ That video is from XST 2019 and not this year, oops What did you see from Nico besides a low K rate? The batted ball stats were abysmal; he barely had a positive launch angle. He was a complete and utter disappointment for me.
  15. The last minute of that game was bonkers Not just for those teams, but for my fantasy teams as well. I had Josh Allen in one, and I was going against Hopkins in both. That play cost me wins in both leagues. Ugh. I lost by less than a quarter of a point to my Hopkins carrying opponent. All I needed was one more decent catch by ARob but then they tried that dumb horsefeathering screen pass and he lost yardage.
  16. I'm mostly of the opinion that at that age you shouldn't even have a license/be able to drive. It took us a couple years and several fender benders and semi-conscious episodes to finally wrest the car from my grandpa. Around the end of his 70s we knew we were sending a threat to public safety out on the road but he wasn't hearing it. Luckily he didn't hurt anyone. TLR looks like he's on deaths doorstep. Revoke his horsefeathering driving privileges.
  17. TEN DEF was an amazing pickup
  18. Whats that currently at anyway?
  19. What needs to happen for Lamar Miller to get a shot?
  20. The Titans D only has 7 sacks on the season. That could double today Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. Lmfao @ the very idea of the Mets ever becoming the city's marquee team Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. Very tempting to grab the TEN DEF for my fantasy team this weekend. I can see 5-6 sacks and at least a couple takeaways. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. Mustipher is possibly out as well Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  24. Nico didn't even do enough to win a bench job
