  1. What, Myrtle and South Bend swapped levels? I must have missed that.
  2. Who the horsefeathers cares about this horsefeathers. The fact is, the Cubs have 3 games this year where they scored more than 5 runs, and in each of them, they annihilated some back end of the roster shlubs. They could very well make the playoffs or the make the play-in again; but we know who these guys are and what we can expect if that pitcher is pumping gas and staying up in the zone. No one does. My post was dripping with sarcasm Sorry. I thought it maybe was but wasn't sure.

  4. Schwarber caught up with heat above the zone. Strange indeed.
  5. Can we convince Happ to drop the switch hitting charade? And never let him bat vs Hader.
  6. Heyward got a grounder through the right side Thank God we didn't lose to these losers
  7. Bote has the feign the bunt to get favorable calls down pat
  8. Jed, you horsefeathering ass, get this schmuck off the team already!
  9. Kimbrel threw 7 pitches. Why the hell are we using horsefeathering Winkler here.
  10. All night we've looked jumpy and have swung through just about every fb in the zone
  11. That horsefeathering blows
  12. Acuna has thus far cut his career K rate in half and is currently on pace for 15 fwar But of course, so is Mike Trout
  13. Burnes is kind of unbelievable. His stuff is filthy and he just notched his 40th K before he's issued a walk.
  14. I mean we are like 15 games in to the year, how is that given? It literally would take a few games of little contact to drop him outside the top 5-10 probably. I'll put the house on it Hes swung and missed i believe twice this year. I dont expect his rate to drop much. And its unlikely the guys under him raise their contact that much to pass him.
  15. Wasn't sure if I should put this in here or the general baseball thread But it appears to be a given that Nick Madrigal is going to lead the league in contact (97.6; 4 pts higher than 2nd place) Has a rookie ever led that category?
  16. Later in the 7th he let Yermin Mercedes pitch. Maybe 2 dominoes to fall!
  17. Pip's eldest son died, only 33 years old. Cause of death unknown.
  18. Haven't seen it discussed here anywhere but Olney is reporting that Baez turned down our 180m offer before last season. Javy has 1 and 2 year offers waiting for him in FA IMO. Nobodys gonna want to lock that bat up unless he posts a 2018 line again and even then the suitors will be few.
  19. Another sickening AB by Javy
  20. We are talking about 2 divisional champs facing off tonight. Additionally the Padres and Dodgers have 5 more series to play against each other. People are annoying.
  21. Javy is on pace for about 10-12 walks and 250-275 Ks, depending on how many games he plays. Dude has lost about 20 points on his contact rate, sitting at 47%. No plan at the plate other than swing away. We cannot be considering offering a contract. We need to push all of our chips in the SS derby this winter and move the hell on.
