  1. This catcher must be the best framer in the game. These calls are atrocious.
  2. Willy was like 97, Heyward was 101. Hmm, felt like they were much better than that
  3. In my mind, Willy and Heyward hit bombs today. What were the EVs on those batted balls?
  4. I never said they were weak players. What I did say was that Schwarber skill set is better served as a DH and Russell's reputation as a #1 prospect might influence another team in trade negotiations. Also, I said that both could be replaced rather easily (internally, trade, or FA). As I said before, it's hard to say who we might get in return when the FO refused to consider trading either of them. Obviously both have lost trade value in the last two years, but both can still play regularly on some team. Kyle Schwarber is one of the best LF in the game defensively and you don't know how to evaluate talent as well as you believe you do.
  5. Of course Yelich homers off of Jansen in the 9th Dodgers won though
  6. Cedeno pitched for the Smokies Walk Single K Double Fielders choice reach Rucker replaced him Single GO HR 4 runs charged to Cedeno
  7. 5 scoreless innings and only 1 walk from Oscar
  8. Never in my life did I expect to see a tweet from Corey Black
  9. I feel like it will take less than 1000 for him to do it again
  10. Mike Trout's slash is 382/593/882 - 563/272 and he's doing it with a 308 BABIP. He's turning into Bonds (4:1 BBK). Its absolutely nuts. I think everybody knew there was much room to grow still but if he can keep something like this up, holy horsefeathering horsefeathers. Sorry to derail the thread but I peeped his page a bit ago and Almora is so boring to talk about. The FO must still have enormous hopes for him.
  11. For the first time ever KB is out of the lineup and I couldn't care less
  12. Bellinger obviously wont keep this up but [expletive] what he's done so far is impressive. He has more HR than Ks (swing strike% half of career rate also) right now. 1.5 fwar in 15 games.
  13. Skaggs threw an 86 ch and followed it up with an 87 fb lol
  14. He homered today and his wOBA dropped lol But seriously Vogelbach has always been a good hitter. For a few seasons there it appeared that he wouldnt reach his power potential but he was still posting elite BBK, swing and miss was never a plaguing issue, and everyone knew the power would eventually come. He should be able to post like a 375 wOBA or something close.
