Soriano has a 5 FIP since his stellar start to the season. Tons of walks and homers allowed. Really not interested. Mlodzinski I is pretty intriguing. Pirates seemingly pulled him out of their asses.

He leads the league in OBP since 4/28 by 12 pts. Since Counsell put him at leadoff hes nearly doubled the 2nd place guy in war LOL 4.4 to 2.3

I mean He's currently on a 4 win pace for July - .9 war in just 6 games, 309 wRC+. I like to start at 4/28, from which he has a 190 over 280 PA Since 5/23 he has a 220 over 190 PA He is wiping the floor with the rest of the position players and is going to blow past 10, could threaten 12 war. Stunning levels of excellence.

Same. Id be shocked if he doesn't pass 60 war because his floor is ridiculous and I expect him to hit around 120 wRC+, at least.

Yep. Insane that he almost never misses a start. You just never know sometimes. With his profile you would think hes had multiple TJ. -
Im not talking about just Bumila, although I was heavy on him until the injury. I just think in general they shouldn't be so rigid with their approach. Im not a fan of summarily dismissing the idea of drafting a HS SP in the 1st round.
