  1. Sanchez goes 6.2 shutout and allows an RBI single to Merrill. What a bummer.
  2. 80-2 is my best now Free Guerin Woolridge McAdoo Wilt
  3. Shame they didn't track defensive stats back then lol
  4. Had to go to the 11th spot on the chart to fill my 5th position lol Oh and if you get the 80s Heat you might as well just hit refresh
  5. I got 5 but still the least losses I've gotten is 7
  6. Took me quite a while but yeah, probably a dumb post
  7. Are the 80s or 90s Bulls even in here?
  8. 75-7 has been my best. Big 3 of Wilt, LBJ, KAT, but had Mo Williams at the 2 and Dischinger at the 3. Never even heard of that guy.
  9. Last 30 days: Nico 58 Dansby 27 Carson 59 Seiya 49 💩 💯
  10. I was rolling with Wilt at the 5 and LBJ at point but the next 3 draws were mid. Although I'm not sure a team with those 2 would ever lose.
  11. They are our nemesis and they are doing things way better than we are. They traded a bunch of scraps for a guy who is on pace for 6 fwar. He put up another dominating start last night, while we scratched one run across and fell to 6.5 games behind them. To make matters worse they have the top prospect in the game and arguably the best overall farm. They actually have major prospects ready to take over at all of their weak positions. I said it before this year, I think 2026 is our last chance to take the division for a while. They pulled off the dual front thing we espoused for so long. I think it's kind of normal to talk about our rivals and it's easy to envy the way they do business. They are lapping us in player evaluation and development, and beating the brakes off of us with a minuscule payroll compared to ours, for 7-8 years now.
  12. Pete caught again and Seiya just continues to be absolutely awful with RISP. You cant have a guy in the middle of the lineup hit like this with runners on. This is embarrassing.
  13. Pitchers abilities to throw these ridiculous pitches for strikes these days or put em pretty much right where they want them is amazing absurd. We know velocity has exploded but the command of secondary piitches has leveled-up tremendously over the last 2-3 seasons. And this always seems to be the issue that the Cubs face around May and June, when the fastballs start disappearing. Not enough of our guys can punish a curveball IMHO. I also wish we had more guys use the opposite field on sweepers and feel like too many times we pull pitches on the outer edge that can probably be an easy oppo hit. The approach has been the same against the Cubs for years, but for some reason each year they forget.
  14. 7-56 with 1 HR 🥶 And I thought KB was bad for a while there...
  15. They need to at least tighten their zones against breakers if they can't do much damage to them. They get in bad counts chasing early too often. The adjustments made have really derailed the offenses approach.
  16. So Detmers is probably gonna be a hot name at the TDL. His ERA is currently a run and a half higher than his FIP. Soriano too, although more obvious as his stats are good across the board. I wonder if Jed could get one of these plus Joyce, who is currently about to begin rehab.
  17. Hartshorn's 350/444/700 with a 1.0 BBK didnt have the helium, huh
  18. People just dont seem to be paying enough attention or at least directing it in the right places. Like how the hell do people not realize that we are top 5 wRC+ and 3rd in offensive war? Theyre not scoring like we need them to lately but its very obvious theyre not the problem to focus on. Lets stop bitching about PCA altogether. Hes looking at a 7 win season. Nico has settled back in at his usual pace, Busch has been his best self for quite a while now. Jed's plan for the pitching staff this year has completely imploded and he is definitely on the hook for that. Most of the changes he made have been crap so far. The injuries have eroded the margin for error. To me the bottom line is that we just might not have a rotation that can win this division. We need Boyd to come back and pitch like an ace just to have a fighting chance, and Brown needs to keep up his pace as well.
  19. He fills at least 1 hand with rings
  20. Love that Webb finished him with the same pitch in the same location where he didnt get the call earlier in the AB
