  1. What are you sorry about? My interest is piqued. Looks like the Cubs are trying to fast-track him as well.
  2. https://www.mlb.com/gameday/823303/video/jj-wetherholt-s-little-league-grand-slam
  3. Well last time we signed a terrible long-term deal we won the World Series so here's hoping
  4. Im like 80% he will be traded. Jed needs to take a big swing on a SP. Hard to beat an offer with Rojas in it.
  5. We might get 20-30 IP out of Harvey. Just hope hes healthy for the playoffs. Looks like a big waste of money at this point.
  6. Liam Hicks - yet another example of power coming in small packages. I guess this guy was a R5 pick. Marlins might have hit the jackpot. Doesn't chase, rarely whiffs. Outperforming his expected stats but those are still strong.
  7. Levine's profile pic cracks me up. When I see how he actually looks, he looks sickly. Reminds me of this local law firm, run by 2 white brothers. Their billboards must have headshots from when they were fresh out of college. I saw one of their commercials and they looked at least 30 years older.
  8. This guy who doesn't have a position on our team is on pace for about 500 PA
  9. Fair. Although I don't believe the height makes much of an advantage and this assumes Kepley won't put on any muscle. When hes at the MLB level i doubt they will look much different.
  10. No, youre right. He has the count wrong. When the video starts it shows 0-0, so I was wrong too. Unfortunately I was sleeping when he hit that. Didn't really realize what the count was.
  11. Watch the video. I think you might be thinking of the triple he hit in the other game.
  12. That's my bad, thought we were playing them now lol Yeah he's the best hitting 2B ever if you just extrapolate his numbers vs us.
  13. I love how we're catching Ozzie Albies while he's hitting better than ever. Expecting 6 HR this series lol
  14. The "power" will come for Kepley. He only needs to hit 5-10 HR. Kwan was a 3 war player with a 5 HR season and damn near a 5 win player with 6 in his rookie season. I expect Kepley would provide more bsr and potentially defensive value as well. The height is less of a concern these days. Freaking Frelick managed a 115 last year and was 3.5. Pretty similar to Kepley as a prospect, Offensively. IDK, I'm overzealous, and he will almost certainly never take an AB as a Cub but this dude has just about a half seasons worth of PA as a pro and has: 15 XBH, 30 SB, 54:31 BBK, 15 HBP, 2 GDP, ludicrous LD rates with really low GB. He's a dirtbag and a really fun player to root for.
  15. Those last 2 plays are easily some of the best plays I've ever seen a player make. I think Nico feels slighted, probably feels some sort of way about Brice Turang like we all do, and he's going all-out this year to get the recognition he deserves. Those plays are insanely fun to watch.
  16. Sonny makes so much sense
