  1. Hoping Cade can go 7 tonight. He didn't deserve one of those ER at all.
  2. Happ must have gotten a ****** read, that seemed like an easy run.
  3. That's good news for us. When it's timed like that, it's like damn you understand for the player but man for anyone with a rooting interest in the team that sucks ass. But horsefeathers em.
  4. Alcantara is far from the best fit for the Cubs
  5. Abrams, Bell, and Wood are all on fire right now. Proceed with caution.
  6. I wonder if Jed would have interest in Morton for the steady innings eater with playoff experience who shouldn't cost much of anything.
  7. We have to ask the same of Brown, who just surpassed his 2024 IP total and last crossed 100 in 2022. If it were up to me I would let them go, but they're gonna have to make some trades. They can't count on Assad. Hoyer isn't going to gamble with his young arms like that. So realistically he needs to add 2 significant arms to the rotation IMO.
  8. They have a 113 ISO, 34 HR.
  9. I feel like Jed is gonna call Mo, Shaw, and Horton off limits and the rest fair game, as hard as he wants to go. If he tries to nab the top pitcher on the market then Wiggins, Long, Rojas will probably be hot names. I'm not sure Alcantara/Caissie has what it takes to anchor a deal and keep those guys out of it.
  10. NO that's how we ruined Morel remember
  11. -RD too. Disappointing season so far for them.
  12. The Soto trade is looking like an all-timer. Incredible return for WAS. It'll be interesting to see what they do with those guys. They got 3 franchise cornerstones and should extend each of them.
  13. I never once said that. I said they were having a hard time picking up his pitches. They couldn't get the bat head out and pull any of that hard contact. Thats what I said. You guys twisted my words and had a nice circle jerk you obviously wish to revisit.
  14. Dodgers passed us in runs scored and have so far pushed the Yankees down to +97 on the year, we are at +93.
