    They better score 3-4 more runs . I don’t think 9 will be enough . Can’t give teams extra outs on days like this . They have given plenty of extra outs .

    That’s a wrap for today . Shaw and McGuire againts Andres Munoz should go well . Not to mention Vidal Brujan and Jon Berti ready to PH on the bench 😂.

    Exactly ,but the problem is that there just isn’t much of anything on the market that can help , unless Ari sells

    If this continues , they will need to get a 3B at the deadline that can give them something on offense . Outside of Suarez , is there someone out there that can help ? Honestly , I can’t think of anybody . 3B is such a weak position around the league .

    Hopefully the Dbacks play bad enough to sell . I give serious consideration to acquiring Merril Kelly and Eugenio Suarez . Looks like Counsell is dead set on having a RHH behind PCA and in front of Busch . Cubs don’t have a good option for that . I like Shaw’s future but in an all in year , wouldn’t mind getting a proven power bat at 3B .

    They will probably target Kyle Tucker next offseason .

    4-3 vs LA 3-3 vs SD 1-2 vs SF 1–2 vs NYM 2-4 vs Phi 1-2 vs Det IMO those are the strongest teams they have faced so far They went 4-3 againts AZ who look like a favorite for a playoff spot before the season .

    What surrender lineup are we complaining about here ? Yes not having PCA sucks , but he has played everyday so far . Today’s matchup seems like the perfect day to do it Busch sucks againts lefties . so starting Turner is the standard move here . Turner has been better the last month or so . My biggest concern is Brujan defensively at CF . They need a true CF backup option , , even if it is an all glove player . Hopefully they make changes to the bench at the deadline . Need a a CF and a 3B that can get a hit every now and then . If it means Berti / Brujan getting cut , won’t miss any of them .

    The dream acquisition would be Sale , but chances of that seem low . Outside of Sale , Merril Kelly seems like a very good fit , if Arizona sells .

    Cardinals were down 3-1 in the 8th and Herrera hit a 3 run homer to put them ahead . Toronto has tie it in the 9th . 4-4

    Hopefully they can find a way to get a win in Philly . Really don’t want to get swept .

    I don’t think the Cubs have had a bad 10-15 games period yet . They are due for one and this may be the beginning . Hopefully St Louis and Milwaukee don’t play good ball , if that is the case .

    This team is missing Amaya . That guy was getting big hits for this team . They are getting nothing from catchers right now

    Harper is on the 10 day IL. Phillies seem to be struggling right now , but if Cubs can’t score it won’t matter . They get Wheeler tomorrow . Luzardo has been awful his last 2 . At the least they didn’t lose ground to St Louis or Milwaukee today .
