    The Cubs have been waiting for Brown to become a legit SP for a while , and just when he is showing signs of figuring this out , we are trading him ? Not to mention that they have 3 of 5 SP going into FA next year . horsefeathers the prospects I say . If you have to deal 2 for a cost controlled SP , you do it .

    I know they are short handed but I don’t understand the plan here . Rollison againts Chourio / Contreras in the 1st doesn’t seem like a great idea , and then Wicks who is atrocious . They have a chance to take a series on the road againts the Brewers and they decide to throw Wicks . I rather pitch Velazquez tbh

    Mets are really bad . Much needed sweep with a rough weekend ahead. Hopefully they can avoid the sweep . If the Cubs can somehow stay in the wild card race , would love to get Weaver or Brazoban from the Mets

    This is better than what usually is available this time of year . Hopefully s new team and better defense helps him . No way they could have just go with Wicks . Needed to do something . Wilson probably replaces Velazquez soon as well ?

    That has been my belief for a long time as well I think he needs to pitch more on the outside part of the plate against righties . If he can locate low and away , home runs should go down . I think at times he gets fastball happy as well and forgets his splitter . Everybody knew he was going to allow home runs , but it has gotten out of control
