  1. dream scenario rose mvp beat the knicks in the first round beat boston in the second round beat the heat in the ecf beat la and stop kobe from getting number 6
  2. Is the gif broken? All I see is Boozer turning around and Bosh getting tapped slightly. Then is quickly flashes another scene I can't see and then back to Boozer turning again. Thank God...I thought I was missing something, but that's exactly what I see. the part in the middle is a sniper taking a shot
  3. I remember watching that awful "Homecoming" show before the Free Agency event in the summer. Rick Reilly was talking to Wade about all of the great point guards in the league and he named Rose. Wade interrupted him and said, "Derrick Rose? Really? Already?" After that he laughed and just shrugged his head. Rose should've just laughed in his face after he made that shot yesterday. i may be in the minority, but i think lebron is only the 3rd biggest douchebag on that team.... and i think it's a distant third. lebron is cocky, arrogant, etc, but i dont even dislike him anymore. i think maybe the fact that he's such a ridiculously good player allows me to get over the insane ego he has. kind of like MJ. michael is a huge POS, but he's kind of "allowed" to be because of how transcendent he was/is. wade and bosh, on the other hand, just seem like complete bitches to me. and it's not just because they turned down the bulls either.
  4. is that from saving private ryan?
  5. not surprising, especially considering he's probably been jacked as [expletive] for this game for weeks now. it'll probably be a couple weeks until he's himself, and then we FINALLY get to see this team as a whole. pretty amazing that we're 39-17 without playing with our real team yet (those 9 games where noah and boozer played don't really ount. boozer was just coming back and noah was already hurt) and if that mayo proposal is real, im glad they turned it down. as much as i wanted a 2 guard, that's too much for mayo
  6. by the way, crawford isnt getting enough credit for how good he's been this season. a 2.11 GAA and .924 save percentage playing behind some questionable defense? i know those 2 stats don't tell you a ton, but still. they tell you he's been pretty good. to be honest, i haven't watched many games this season so i don't have a lot to go on.... could he be a long term solution? in other words, is he just on a niemi-like streak right now, or does he look legit?
  7. if things hold true to form, they'll win the next one then lose 3 of the next 4 after that prove me wrong hawks
  8. im assuming the reason noah played so few minutes was because of foul trouble?
  9. also im laughing my ass off at bosh's 1-18. that's remarkable.
  10. soooo pissed i wa sunabl to watc this one or follow it in any way for people who watched it, you can you give me some details? i mean i see the box and the PBP and stuff, but that doesn't really tell me how the experience of watching it was
  11. i think people have a lot of misconceptions about how good the red sox were last year. they didn't make the playoffs, so people talk like they sucked or something. the red sox had a run differential of +74 last year and won 89 games in a completely stacked division. that was also despite bad years from beckett and lackey and less than a half a season played from pedroia.
  12. the cavs just traded for baron davis. hahahaha. over/under on number of pounds he gains by season's end? 18 1/2?
  13. yea i always forget about the divisional seeding thing
  14. 83-85 wins may take the division, but it won't be because it sucks. This is the best it's been a long time. huh? how can it not suck if 83-85 might take it? also, 2008- Cubs 97-64 Brewers 90-72 Astros 86-75 Cards 86-76 i think you mean it's the most competitive it's been in a while.
  15. the nest 4 games are absolutely crucial. we've got nashville, phoenix, minnesota, and calgary.... 4 teams we're fighting for playoff spots with what's amazing is that we're one good stretch away from potentially leaping all the way into the 3 seed. that's how wide open it is. this team still has the 3rd best goal differential in the west, despite all the injuries and struggles. there is nooo way this team should miss the playoffs. if they DO, it's not because of the roster.
  16. haha somebody took a dump in dusty's spot. that's disgustingly awesome. i also loved that he was able to say with 100% certainty that he can distinguish the difference between dog [expletive] and human [expletive]
  17. yea, i basically agree. i'll always love him and i'll never forget the arizona comeback (still the most amazing sporting event i've ever experienced), but about a year ago i started losing a little respect for his character. his proclamation that he was the best PG in the NBA (which was true at the time, but still), the calling out of the front office for trading ronnie brewer, and now this. he kinda seems like a dick. also his haircut is unfortunate. just another reason that rose is the man. the most controversial thing derrick has ever done was eat to many gummy bears and cheat on his ACT? if you aren't cheating you aren't trying duh also it's not his fault he's dumb. instead of bashing him for cheating, we should praise him for using the little intelligence he has to agree to cheat. the guy just continues to defy the odds even when things are stacked against him.
  18. damn the central is going so suck serious ass this year brewers definitely look like the favorites at this point. 83 wins takes the division again?
  19. oh, and even though the embarrassing defense was the reason they lost this game, there was still that one glaring weakness when i looked at the box after the game (didnt get to watch it live) rose- 30/10 boozer- 24/6 noah- 7/16 deng- 19/2 bogans- 3/1 i know he doesn't really get starters minutes, but jesus. are wer seriously going into the playoffs with this guy as our starting SG. i can't believe that they aren't making a move. we don't even have to get somebody good.... just somebody that isn't a complete corpse. is there another player in the NBA who starts and doesn't have at least ONE thing he does well?
  20. considering the fact that the united center is a morgue during games, i'm not too concerned about the home/road splits. seems more like a sample size thing. based on the type of character this team has (especially noah/rose), i feel good about our chances on the road in the postseason when the stakes are high and everybody in the building hates them. noah, for one, loves that [expletive].
  21. yea, i basically agree. i'll always love him and i'll never forget the arizona comeback (still the most amazing sporting event i've ever experienced), but about a year ago i started losing a little respect for his character. his proclamation that he was the best PG in the NBA (which was true at the time, but still), the calling out of the front office for trading ronnie brewer, and now this. he kinda seems like a dick. also his haircut is unfortunate. just another reason that rose is the man. the most controversial thing derrick has ever done was eat to many gummy bears
  22. Not sure about that. I do think that the Nets got a better player than the Knicks did this week, and gave up less going forward. agreed, but they didn't get him to sign an extension. not sure who made out better. it will depend on whether or not deron ultimately stays in NJ. but yea, i lol'd when i checked espn.com and saw that the nets ended up getting a better player anyways
  23. suck it, jazz fans. first you lose sloan and now deron..... and had no warning signs whatsoever that either were about to happen. but hey, you guys got all jefferson and he's better than boozer right? you'll be fine. korver/brewer/boozer will break when they come to the bulls.
  24. i'm not saying the bulls shouldn't still beat them. i'm just saying that our likely first round opponent just got a lot tougher.
  25. why isn't anybody talking about the fact that we're probably playing the knicks in the first round and that they just got a top 10 player?
