the lightning's goal differential was even worse a week or 2 ago, at like -8 or something. i keep waiting for them to crach, but it never happens. everytime they start to slump, they go on a streak. i have no idea what to make of that team. it's too bad they don't at least have a decent goalie to mask their bad d. ellis/smith are atrocious, and roloson isn't the answer. some low seeded team is going to luck out by getting them in the first round and yes, im still pimping stamkos for 60

yeah, i was surprised that i was rooting for the heat over the knicks. i also rooted for the celtics over the knicks earlier this year. i just can't stand the knicks. now i'm terrified that the knicks will get melo, pass atl for the 5 seed, and we'll have to play them in the first round.

i don't see why amare is even a candidate at this point. he's not really playing any better than he did in any of his years with phoenix. i know he's doing it without nash, but still. he's a PF shooting under 50% from the field and averaging only 9 boards a game. i don't think that's mvp stuff. he's just shooting a lot more this year

very bad loss. minnesota is one of the (many) teams we're neck and neck with for a playoff spot. to give them 2 points on our home ice while we get none is terrible. i just want to make the playoffs, even if we get spanked in the first round. missing the postseason would be kind of embarrassing.... injuries or not. this team is better than the w-l shows, and the goal differential is a pretty good indication of that. we just can't translate it into w's

yea it gets tough again, but then it ends extremely soft the last 17 games go like this wash nj ind sac atl mem mil phi minn det tor pho bos cle orl ny nj i kuje the way the schedule plays out. we get a bunch of softies at the end so we can get on a roll and head into the playoffs with a lot of confidence and momentum

Philips Rivers basically had no ACL and could barely walk, but he played in the AFC Championship game against NE Cutler is a bitch. If you can walk around the sideline, you suck it up and try to play. It's for a trip to the [expletive] Super Bowl and your backup is Todd Collins. I find it hard to believe his injury is more serious than Rivers' was.

I just assumed he was sitting on the other end of the court waiting for the offense to come back. You mean he's been on the defensive end? it's weird because his attitude with everything else seems awesome. good teammate, good attitude, wants to win, etc. but for some reason he completely mails it in on defense. i knew that before he came here, but i didn't know it was this bad.
