i'll be happy with oj mayo or jr smith it's funny, when the lebron-to-chicago hype was at it's peak and then there were rumblings of wade, i remember posting something like "man, it's gonna suck when we end up with carlos boozer and joe johnson" now i look at that and think how amazing it would be if we got both of those guys. we'd probably be the number 1 seed in the east right now and would be a legit title contender for the foreseeable future. instead, we wind up with ronnie brewer and keith bogans. still though, you gotta figure it's only a matter of time before we get a legit SG. it might not even be this year, but it doesn't have to be. we're looking very good for the next several years with rose/noah still so young and boozer still with good years left in him. it's amazing how much that draft lottery turned this franchise around. 1.7%. where we would be right now if we didn't get that?

they should just get rid of the ASG and instead make the skills competetion bigger with more events. the asg is stupid in pretty much every sport, but the NHL one is the worst. it's funny watching them skate around at half speed though

and let's be honest, going 9-28 isn't helping the team win. he helped in other ways, but his shooting didn't contribute to the win tonight. i'm not bashing rose at all, i'm just pointing out that i'm concerned with his efficiency. mostly because of the fact that it's taken such a big tumble from where it was his first 2 seasons i know a huge part of that is that he's taking so many more 3's now, but that doesn't explain the entire difference. i think the main problem is he tried too hard and tries to do too much sometimes, because he knows he's the man and everything goes through him. since noah's gone down it's become really apparent. his efficiency has been super bad since noah went out. again, not complaining, just concerned. i was just hoping it wouldn't dip below 45%

yea kevin harlan. i thought we had marv the entire game. i can't tell the difference between those 2 guys at all. the only time i can tell is when marv does one of his catch phrases on nig plays

rose has been ridiculous from the line lately. he's up to .813 after tonight his field goal percentage is all the way down to .449 though. yikes

kind of a stupid quesiton since i've been listening to marv albert since the mid 90's, but was he doing the bulls game... or is this him doing the clippers/blazers game? i cant remember the name of the other TNT guy, but he sounds exactly like marv to me and i still can't tell the difference

captains are crucial in the asg game too. need somebody to pump up the team in a game where guys are skating at 40% speed

impressive win. when i saw boozer was out i assumed this would be a loss. not really sure how we won, considering our only good player (rose) had a pretty horrific shooting night
