Yes and hes only at 103, they probably figure the Cubs will make 3 outs before he reaches 110 Not a bad assumption...he can actually go the full 9 innings w/out reaching 120.

looks like he's trying to hit the ball into the lake. He's probably thinking the Cubs love Floyd so he's trying to imitate him in every way. He's doing a pretty good job so far. He'd hit nothing but singles if he were imitating Floyd...and would suffer a debilitating injury w/ moments of waking up in the morning as well.

Gotta ask, which side of the CyHawk series are you rooting for? :lol: I am a Hawkeye fan at heart (since I was a kid). Went to undergrad at ISU, ;law school at U of I. I am a HUGE Kirk Ferentz fan.....Alford.....not so much. Am very interested in seeing what Chizik does in Ames--still shocked they got him to come up from Austin... Like Ferentz and hate Alford? Sounds like just about everyone else in Iowa City. :lol: Anyway, nice play by Wuertz to get the lead runner. Alford is a d-bag...I've spoken w/ him numerous times. Favorite Hawk's coach of all time is & always will be Gable--drank w/ him on several occasions when I was in law school.. I've gotta ask, why'd you end up at ISU for undergrad? My parents wouldn't let me go to Arizona (Tucson) :oops: :oops: They had this ridiculous idea that academics wouldn't be my focus down there.....not that it mattered in Ames (my freshman year anyway)...

I think a mob would start with the sole purpose of lynching Lou, I would lead that mob. :lol: I think you would be leading a mob of 1 while the rest of us would be thrilled to have Hamels out of the game. x2

did she get really fat after yall split up and then you revisited? no, but I only slept with her to a) make her leave me alone and b) to bust a slump in my experience, sleeping with a woman does nothing towards getting her to leave me alone...in fact it pretty much works the other way Depends on what game you choose to employ...

exactly. Ahh, o.k., I "get it"; guess the '06 Cubs are still fresh in my mind. I know it's not truly the case, but it seemed like we always left about 10 on base every game & maybe pushed across 1 or 2. And no, I don't buy into the fallacy of "clutch" hitting....'06 Cubs just seemed to be the confluence of all things bad in baseball...

Huh?? It's a "good" thing to have runners LOB? Sure, if you score 10 of a possible 20...then the LOB isn't really relevant. I see the point that having runners on in the first place is important, but making the blanket statement that runners LOB is good, w/out adding a qualifying statement is ludicrous.
