  1. Voted Romney, hoping for Gingrich. Obama vs. Gingrich at least = potential entertainment
  2. He's now played in Florida, Washington, Oakland and Minnesota -- aren't those all tough ballparks to hit HR's in? Not positive about Washington.
  3. Pretty good move by Minnesota, I've always thought Willingham was highly underrated. Would have loved him if we had room for him.
  4. He's older than Carlos Zambrano
  5. I really don't want to go to this game
  6. Well that sounds outrageous. The line? It started at +3.5 and is at +4.5 now a couple hours later. And [expletive] bodog still hasn't posted it. Eww, switch books. Blowdog is the worst I like Sportsbook a lot, but for some reason they've really been lacking on totals this year. But good for NFL, buying points, teasers, props, whatever you like. I used to use Sportsinteraction, I never had any problems with it either.

  8. How about any DePaul team from the last 20 years? DePaul would occasionally beat the D1 cupcakes. Utah just lost to one by 31 at home. They may not win a D1 game this year. Utah was playing without their far-and-away best player, Josh Watkins, last night. But yeah, they are pretty awful. But not awful enough to go winless in a terrible Pac 10/12/whatever. Also, CSF is not exactly a "cupcake". They aren't great, but not a total pushover, picked to finish 3rd in the Big West.
  9. Do not see Illinois being able to maintain a 3 seed. I'm thinking, and would be happy with, a 6 seed.
  10. Remember when Illinois lost at home to Penn St 38-33? This isn't THAT much different.
  11. He's a great college player, someone NBA scouts will bring up when compiling Leonard's draft stock at present.
  12. Egwu is going to be really good. He does so many little things well, other than being a pure athlete for his size. He followed up a foul miss with a great run=the-court rebound and lay in. It didn't count obviously, but I love to see it. Needs to gain some toughness, but he's a freshman, so it's to be expected. Oh certainly, but very few freshman are "stars", and the ones who are leave. He just has so much to build on over 4 years that I think we're looking at a 1st team All Big 10 caliber athlete in 3 years.
  13. Yeah, definitely. Loyola has suffered a far bigger drop off than I expected this season. They are dog [expletive]. you actually paid attention to loyola enough last year to be surprised at their drop off this year? Yeah, I live close to there and was in business school there. They were actually fairly decent last year and only lost a couple guys. Also opened a new Gentile Center this year and have supposedly had a better turnout.

  16. Illinois better be prepared for St. Nicholas tonight, dude is a beast. St. Bonnie is a true trap game.
  17. driving sucks in chicago fixed I love driving in Chicago how is that possible? I have a car readily available, with parking, and despise it.
  18. No more Blake DeWitt please -- trade for anything except Neifi
  19. Upon looking at the list more, it's actually pretty terrible. Tommy Hanson exhibit A
  20. I know for a fact that David Dejesus' personal hitting coach is in Chicago. I know this because I used to go to him. So he's obviously very familiar with the area and came at a slightly discounted price thanks to his bad 2011 season. I like the move for the most part.
  21. Illini should roll ISU tonight. Richmond was the 2nd best team in this tournament. Illini by 14
